Why is Blight 4.6 ,being so strong?
One thing that always catches my attention when I face a Blight, is that it is a hybrid killer, it works both playing using power and bloodlust, which in my opinion, it shouldn't be as killers as nurse and spirit, which despite Although they are strong, they move slower, forcing the player to learn how to use their power, as Blight, if you don't know how to use the power, will play like a Pig, running and using M1 which is ridiculous in my opinion
I think it should be at 4.4, I don't believe that would harm older players experienced, the difference I imagine could happen is that he would need to spend more his power to control the map, which would reduce the absurd pressure that this killer already has
But I wanted to know the opinion of Blight players if the 4.6 speed helps him too much in chases, at least in my matches I lost a lot to Blight because I would reach for a pallet and he would knock me down with M1 and use his power to knock down another surv on the other side of the map, which makes this killer more lethal than it should be
It's worth remembering that this is not a nerf request, but rather a reflection I made on the killer of according to the games I played against him, I even tried to play with him to getting to know him and he appears to be slow to walk and his power requires dedicated learning, but there are a lot of people who play well with it, and have bots to train, it's no longer I need to be crushed in lobbies to learn how to play killer, well that was it folks, see you later

Killers are 4.4 because they have some form of anti loop in every situation, it is less about strength. Blight can’t really use his power in every loop so that’s why he’s 4.6.

As stated above. 4.4 killers have powers that can be utilized In every single situation. Blight does not.

i hope they dont touch artist for that bc she have this ability to injure anyone anywhere on the map

I think BHVR has been slowly phasing out 4.4 killers as a base because they consistently are some of the weakest killers in the game killrate wise and new players struggle to learn them. 4.6 killers are useable by newer players even if they have a complicated or skill expressive power like Blight
Whereas all 4.4 killers and Nurse, all require you to be constantly using your power otherwise you're at a huge disadvantage in regular chases

The only time a Blight can't use their power is a small rock 'loop', and by that I mean no pallet exists, so its a hit for Killer eventually no matter what. Normal 5 bumps allow for pinballing into a hit at all medium sized loops, and small loops (like the tent+2crate new loop on farm maps) are too small to matter.

Making blight 4.4 wont do a single thing.

It would punish blights that are less skilled and do nothing to experienced blights. You are correct.
2 -
i highly doubt that. they're not phasing 4.4 killers. it is just that there hasn't been a reason to make any of killers 4.4. closest killer that they could made 4.4 or slower is pinhead. If he had engineer fang base-kit, he could easily be like 4.0 m/s killer.

It's not that there hasn't been a reason to make a killer 4.4
It's because they design new killers in such a way that they don't need to be 4.4, since 4.4 is meant to be a balance downside. Instead it seems they're opting for more in-built counterplay options. Stuff like Knight's Banner, The vaccines, hacking drones, EMPS, Flame turrets etc
That's my guess at least.

Spirit and Huntress would like a word with you

Huntress is balanced by three things
4.4, learning curve projectile and lullaby. That's more than enough
Spirit, like Nurse -is the exception and not the rule as their powers were insanely strong (and still are) but as BHVR keeps the balance patches rolling, they are getting weaker and weaker. Some people claim Spirit is horrible now, despite the fact she plays basically the same

So we have 4.4 killers - slinger (when best players pick them he's as strong or stronger as huntress, but in average he is slightly too weak), huntress (solid A), spirit (literally 3rd strongest killer), hag (still considered very strong in comp-hands, but sure enough - not the best killer - but can't be called weak one), trickster (weak one, but 2nd best camper in game - making him low-mmr stomper).
So how did you come to conclusion, that 4.4 = bad killer?
0 -
Note, I didn't say 4.4 = bad
I said 4.4 = harder to use for newer players and usually have lower killrates
1 -
Ok. In that case I can agree with that

Thanks guys, but I don't think that's the reason, because if spirit, for example, was 4.6 you would say the same thing, and it does very well even though it's 4.4 and Blight is much more powerful than it
I would really like to see a PTB testing Blight in 4.4 to see if it changes anything, but I thank everyone who took the time to respond, I'm happy to know that people like to help answer questions, you're really cool ^^

This is far from true.

We wouldn’t say the same thing, because it wouldn’t be true? Spirit’s power can be used in literally ANY situation, at ANY tile.

Care to elaborate? In a normal medium sized loop you have the basic curving capabilities to skip a bounce, or the speed and Adren Vial to afford 4 bounces.
Blight Normal Medium pallet loop (with optional bump fatigue delay add-ons)
Blight Adren Vial Medium pallet loop
In both circumstances if they drop the pallet early, the Blight simply bumps off of the pallet, then breaks it on the 2nd rush instead. That arguably makes him a better pallet shredder than the likes of Bubba/Singularity/Demo/Nemmy.

The thing is... I am pretty much convinced BASEKIT blight is actually fine. Should he had same "quality" of addons as say pyramidhead, freddy, nemesis or billy, he would be solid A-tier killer. Very strong, but far from OP. The problem is, that he has freaking 5 OP addons and then quite a few strong addons still. I just absolutely don't get why such a strong killer as blight needs 5 OP addons, and Freddy literally having 0 strong addons.

This is assuming the tile has reliable collision. Reworked Auto haven loops? Terrible. Red forest loops? Terrible. Yamaoka loops? Absolutely awful. The collision on most of these maps is either extremely sticky or nonexistent.

Playing Blight has you learning the collision passively, and you are fast enough of a Killer that mistakes mean little to nothing. I slid off of everything on Borgo and still managed the 4k by the end because he is so busted.
Edit: Grammar

Rather just have his stupid addons nerfed tbh

1. No one saw the powerhouse Blight would become and 4.6 is standard killer speed.
2. Main complaint and focus are his add-ons.
3. Making him 4.4 would really only nerf the weaker Blights while doing next to nothing on the already god Blights. Not really addressing anything there.

the Blight too

Exactly, those who are strong with Blight will remain strong, and those who don't know how to play can train it against bots, or even play with other characters, ghostface, pig and sadako are great for less experienced players because most baby survs don't they are strong against killer 4.6, which is the main reason I think Blight should be 4.4, to prevent those who don't know how to play with him from deciding to play with him only from m1 since he has the potential to play with his power
When Blight arrived in the game, his power was confusing and clumsy, the camera was dislocated, not to mention the collision insects he had, a lot of people even made fun of him saying that he was almost weaker, the way he was I didn't even care if he it was 4.6, but nowadays I would like to see at least one test of it in ptb being 4.4, even if it is not placed in official tournaments
