Ultimate Weapon is a problem.
Something about this perk need to be done; longer cool down? Make it only activate after a hook similar to Thwack? Something.
Provides too much information unearned and it's horrible on Nurse/Oni (in his power)/Spirit/Blight/Wesker.
I feel one good way to fix the perk would be to make it like Thwack.

Let's identify what the perk *actually does*.
Realistically all it does is tell you once per survivor per activation the general whereabouts of said survivor.
In turn the survivor also gets notified thanks to the scream effect and allows the survivor to pre-run.
It doesnt make the chase component any easier for killer, and provides a marginally decent survivor location.
Objectively the perk is fine as is, if you *really* don't like dealing with it, consider running calm spirit and you'll never get UW'd on.

The perk gives the survivor a 32 meter heads up that you know where they are and gives you a snapshot of where they are, 1 minute cooldown and you need to go out of your way to find a locker to use it.
Sounds reasonable to me as a perk in a video game, even if you didn't earn it its only so strong. It itself is a weak debuff and an info perk it can tell you where someone is to chase but you still need to do the other half of the work yourself of chasing them
Examples of even stronger perks you don't have to earn
Made for this
Unbreakable
off the record
bamboozle
brutal strength
corrupt intervention
Using that as an argument just doesn't work so well especially since you don't need to earn every perk in the game and since they have a opportunity cost of 1 / 4 of your perk slots on top of perks being well, perks

"I feel one good way to fix the perk would be to make it like Thwack."
You want them to adjust a perk to be just like a perk no one uses?

I never seen anyone use Thwack, its so bad.
But unironically making Ultimate Weapon based on hooks isnt a bad idea, this would mean you could max have 11 uses per match-

Thwack on Nurse is god-tier.

Agreed it's a problem, especially mixed with DMS. Should at least get the cooldown bumped to 45 seconds.

Survivors need some serious nerfs before yall take more away from killers.
You have 3 perks that basically are so good that you have litterally no reason to take any other. And two others that are also a gimmie.
Repair tools allow you to fix a generator at light speed.
Items in general never seem to run out.
There's a ton more I can add. The game is definitely tipped in favor of survivors right now.
And you want to nerf a niche build lol

It's not a problem, people just don't like their agency being interrupted.

Please it's literally autopilot for killer these days.
All of the hand-holding; too many killers are used to pubstomping and then cry when they go against good SWFs.

KnowhereToHide : Kick Gen, Active for 5s, Reveal survivor aura within 24meter of killer position.
Darkness Reveal : Open locker, Active for 5s, Reveal survivor aura within 8meter of any locker.
Gear Head : Hit survivor, active for 30s, Reveal survivor aura if they hit goodskillcheck when repairing gen.
Etc...
Since when playing killer doesn't require any effort to find survivors? just open a locker then all survivor inside your terror radius reveal their location, perk active for 30s, that kind of perk okay? Really?
and please don't say that finding a locker is difficult, there are lots of lockers.

Ultimate Weapon has such evil potential. Some hardcore Killers here won't admit it though because they're are too scared it'll get nerfed so they pretend it doesn't have problematic applications and try to paint an innocent picture. They usually see the title of your post and go "Killer Nerf?=Objection! No matter how logical it is!" They don't care if it's reasonable. We had people here defending busted af Killers/Perks here for years...
I've dropped every other info perk since the release of UW and honestly I feel kinda guilty using it, I just open lockers and go to next target. So many dirty killer/perk combos you can pull off too. I get accused of cheating every time but it's literally just this perk LOL. If you're not a looping god (you don't have to be) your playstyle is nullified by this perk. At least I can admit UW does too much for least amount of effort.

The fact that calm spirit in it's current awful state with unreasonable debuff saw 500% increase in usage just because UW was released is the definitive answer of if/how badly UW is broken.

LOL. Lets keep going then.
- Several maps have gens that are not worth the trouble by killers so they are given to you
- Several loops are infinite
- Pallets are hardly a "resource" when theres damn near an infinite amount of them
- You can escape crawling
- Can flashlight through walls
- Can repair gens so fast that one person can get a gen up in less than a min
- The ability to push hooks away (neither side should be able to influence it)
The only thing you are missing is a I win button if you are losing. For a side where it comes down to how well can you run in a circle and hold W.

I find it laughable how there are people who legitimately argue that being able to effortlessly reveal/find your chosen target almost any time you want is no big deal.

On this Forum "MFT is a frustrating perk bc it's very strong with no good counterplay and punishes M1 killers" is an okay opinion to have but "UW is a frustrating perk w/ no good counterplay that overpowers S tier killers" will you get you crucified and called a bad player.😍

Yeah... you mean like Windows of Opp?
Atleast UW requires you to open a locker, then get within your TR of a survivor to trigger the "the survivor is around this zipcode" scream bubble + only one scream within the 30s window its up + another 30s cooldown ontop of it.
Meanwhile WOO gives you permanent ESP on all windows pallets and tiles just because you happened to *load into the match*.
Ya'll seem to be forgetting that the power role is supposed to be killer, and as such it makes sense for killer to have strong perks, survivors having perks that allow them to 1 v 1 a killer is the most busted balance philosophy that could possibly exist, and thats what we have with current survivor meta.
Survivors are the ones meant to bring counter perks, thats why survivors have so many of them that sometimes outright delete killer perks, like distortion and CS.
