Hiding prestiges is getting ridicious.
I can't even see my friends prestige in lobby this is just too much... Bring prestiges back I want to show mine and see others. It's only thing still keeping me interested in the game. Other than gaining prestiges there is nothing more I can achieve.

What’s the point of having this prestige system if you can’t even show it off?

Because it is only used as a tool to lobby-dodge which breaks matchmaking and target or harass certain players. This is what a game company should prioritize, user experience. Sorry, "to show it off" doesn't hold much weight and it's a pretty surface-level excuse for it to be visible. Negatives outweigh the positives.

I have a theory that with the upcoming "Player Cards" feature players will have the option to showcase their Prestige Levels if they wish to and this will be the middle-ground solution.

Hide it from the killer then. But there’s zero reason I shouldn’t be able to see my own, or my teammates’ prestige.

The problem lies in being forced to hide prestige.
Why is it forced? If there is someone who wants to expose himself even if he knows it is disadvantageous, that should be his freedom.
Even if someone says, ``Because of your prestige, the killer will leave the match, and we can't work together.''
It should be each person's right to show or hide their prestige, and it should not be forced upon others.
