aargh, too many actions on the same button!
I just got wrecked last match because vault, heal self, and enter void are all on the same button. So once I tried to vault but there was a void right there so I interacted with it instead and got wrecked, and another time I was trying to go through a portal, but instead I started self-healing and got wrecked.
I had similar problems on Twisted Masquerade.
Devs: as a fun design challenge on the next event, try to add things that don't use buttons that are already used for other common actions.

7 years and they can’t give individual buttons for different actions or perk activators

For the other side: pick up, open locker, vault, interact. I don't understand why they are so stingy on buttons. There are 10 idle buttons on the controller, let alone PC master race.

You can have different buttons for vaulting and healing. But healing and portal is always the same button (except healing with a medkit)

You can change your secondary action keybind so you dnt drop a pallet trying to heal. I use y

you can always tell a killer who has <100 hrs in the game because they climb through a window when they try to pick you up.

by the way if you have a medkit while injure and you trying to heal your injured temmate with your medkit. you wont be able to
you only have option to heal normally. or use medkit to selfheal.
ALSO ALSO. i had a soloq console temmate on rpd. how i know he is console ? well he tried to unhook me instead he vaulted the window next to hook dropping him on the buttom floor. and I HIT STAGE 2 hahahahah
it took them 7 years. to add a search bar and fps unlock on the main setting menu. perhaps in another 7 years we would be able to pick what button to use for what action

That's not strictly true.
I have 1000 hours in the game and I still do this from time to time.

Is it possible to switch items if you have - let's say - Wes spray and a toolbox? If not, that is the only issue with the actions.

No. But that's not the issue here. It's an intended mechanic that if you're holding a special item, that item takes precedent over any other item you may be carrying.

you can drop the wes spray to use your toolbox, and then pick it up again afterwards.
