At least those who tunnels cuz game goes fast as hell.

With 4 survivors gen time become 180 secs

With 3 survivors becomes 90

With 2 surv becomes 45 secs.

The idea is buff surv speed doing gens when the less surv are in game.

I don't think it will solve the problem. The problem is rather that killers are not punished for camping and tunneling (even though it's part of the game and can be useful sometimes). If you are infected by Wesker for example, there are killers who simply camp with the M2 ready at 16m off the hook. When you get unhooked, he logically hits you and the survivor who unhooked, so you are in mending (i.e. deactivates Dead Hard, Off The Record) + your infection goes up to 3/4. Especially Wesker has a very easy game to tunnel people out and you can not really do anything against it. In my opinion killers shouldnt be able to charge/ use their power in a specific hook range. There are even Nurse players who just camp 16m and instantly teleport towards you, when unhooked

Not only is the killer role not punished by it, they get rewarded massively in comparison to when they play "nice".

You can not just punish tunneling. You have to give an alternative.

Also: I don't want to go into your last bit. I just hope it was a joke and leave it at that.

I don't want to say its bad at all. Like forcing the second hook stage if there are just a few seconds left is totally fine. But standing right next to a hook or barely leave it is just a "meh". Especially killers like Wesker, Nurse and some others who can be there before the actual unhook even happened and bring you into mending.

Well there are alternatives: leave the hook and find another survivor. Just some people don't want to do it and rather hug the hook.

And yes, obv. the last part of it was a joke, I hoped the "lol" made it clear. :/

Tunneling happens because there just isn't enough gen time at Higher MMRs to have multiple 30-60 second chases with each individual person.

4 Chases would equal 120-240 Seconds , A *single survivor* can pop one gen in 90 seconds , but obviously theres 2 other survivors doing gens aswell, so in those 90 seconds, theres 3 total gens being worked on, 60% of the survivors goal being finished when the killer gets a single hook (8%~) just doesn't feel right. (Again, this math is easily verifiable by checking speedrundotcom where 5 gen pop escapes take 4-6 minutes)

And with current state survivor perks, its a guarantee that no gen will take "90 seconds".

Got commodious toolboxes turning gens from 90s solo to 60s solo.

Got Deja vu telling survivors which gens are critical to avoid a 3 gen while also shaving 5% off just because you spawned in. (84s gens perma) (That is 60% of a BNP on every single gen)

Got Resilience, for some reason providing a 9% speed buff to everything , which results in a 9% shave (81s gen).

The only way to solve this situation would be to encourage killers to not tunnel by providing benefits (ex: Basekit Grim embrace).

Or basekit Corrupt so 3 gens don't fly by the time you find your first survivor, hence indirectly giving more gen time.

Sorry, some people playing this game are something else. Try not to make these kinds of jokes.

See, this is a rational response from someone who sees the issue from the killer perspective, using actual numbers to prove how doing what some players are demanding makes it mathematically impossible for killer players to win.

The devs are smart enough to know this and are hopefully ignoring the players (who never play killer) who are crying for "tunneling" nerfs because they aren't escaping 95% of their matches.

This is too severe, there's definitely other ways to reduce tunnelling before going to extreme lengths.
