The way feedback gets processed is so bizzare to me
Since trickster got his (now second) panic-nerf from the PTB, a few criticisms were brought up:
- Slow base throwrate
- Slow main event throw rate
- Unoriginal add ons
And now the first bugfix comes around, and the change made to him is increasing memento blades to 10%.
So the feedback was clearly heard that his throwrate was too slow, I'm just confused how that feedback was interpreted and converted to the idea to buff memento by 5%
Surely increasing his base throwrate to 3.5 blades a second was the better idea, since his PTB throwrate was too much, and his current live throwrate is too slow?
I really hope this memento blade change is temporary. Maybe, for whatever reason, they couldn't push out a base kit change this update so they went with adjusting this add on instead.

Hey now, don’t worry. They are “looking into it.”

You're right that the slow throwing speed - both base and Main Event - is feedback that we've heard and we're looking into.
Mandy mentioned here that the Designers are in the process of making changes to throwing speed but unfortunately these changes weren't done for today's bugfix patch.

You know what, that's actually really funny that you absolutely called exactly what they were gonna say.

Want to clear up a few things here, it's not that feedback isn't listened to - we do listen to all feedback.
However, changes need time to implement - designers need to make a decision on what change to make, programmers need to make the changes, then these are tested by QA (which may or may not need further adjustments after that), plus then these changes go into certification so that all platforms are covered, so as you can see it's a process to make changes and things can't be done instantly...the addon change for example was done prior to release it just couldn't get into the release, so this bugfix patch was the nearest one.
The changes to the throwing rate and main event, were things that were found AFTER the release, but unfortunately there was not enough time to get these through the process mentioned above for todays bugfix patch, so they will be in a later one.

Ah that makes sense. I was just a bit worried that the buff to his add on was the "fix" to his throw rate issue. Good to know its still being tinkered with.
