Friends til the end didn't change obsession on death hook

I was playing as The Nurse.

Perks : Friends Til' The End, Deadlock, Discordance, Lethal Pursuer

Add-ons : Matchbox, Wooden Horse

The obsession did switch throughout the match when hooking the obsession but when i killed the obsession on death hook when there was two survivors, the obsession didn't change.

This is the first and only time it's happened to me.

    I’ve noticed that if you’re in a locker when Friends would change the obsession, you can’t be picked as the new obsession and if all remaining survivors are in lockers then it just doesn’t switch at all.

    Unsure if intended or not, but I believe that’s what’s causing the behavior you described.

    i had this happen to but the obsession has calm spirit i wonder if thats why because they scream to transfer the obsession

    Calm Spirit and being in a locker will both prevent the scream. Being in the locker will prevent the obsession from changing altogether. Also, because the perk targets a random survivor, if that random survivor is in a locker, then the perk will not PROC. Please update this thread if it happens again. Thank you!

    Oh ok as this is most likely what happened then. It was on the game map so plenty of lockers.

    So yeah, this is definitely a thing. My buddy and I were playing on Borgo and when we knew there was Friends til the End, she would hide in a locker as she was the obsession and didn't want her aura to show. When she eventually did go down to get hooked, I hid in a locker and so did the remaining survivor and my buddy remained the obsession. The 4th was already out of the game. So hiding in lockers is preventing you from getting FTTE's obsession transfer. Not sure about the Calm Spirit perk and what they said about that.
