Twins rework suggestions

Hi! I have been maining Twins for a few months now and overall they feel great, I really enjoy playing them but there are some things that are just deppresing about them

1) How much it takes to switch back to Charlotte: It takes as much/the same as a bubba hitting a wall, tantrum I think its called? Or at least its feels the same as that, It shouldnt be so punishing using your power even when you downed a survivor. Feels really unfair and it only promotes the slugging gameplay, because of how much time you loose just switching. This is mostly because of what it feels as a bug where after you hit a survivor you cant move your camera down, and moving your camera down is the only way to allow the switch between Victor and Charlotte, so that also count as wasted time for switching. That feels horrible.

2) Zero hopes about this, but the HITBOXES, those damn hitboxes, they feel horrible for Victor, sometimes you hit a Leaf of a bush and you get stuck in there, door frames feels horrible too. How is it possible that in most maps the hitboxes feels so bad?

3) Can someone explain me the philosophy of punishing a killer for using well his power and hitting a survivor? Survivors can hold hostage Victor for a minute (feels like more) I think before Charlotte can recover it, so you are not only powerless in most scenarios, but also super far away with charlotte, so you keep wasting time going from Charlotte to where Victor was (yes, I know you can go somewhere else, but you get the point) All of this only keeps incentivating slugging which feels super boring, not only for survivors but for the killer as well.

4) Used pallets feels like Attack on Titan walls, it would be nice to give Victor the ability to go under pallets with the same ability cooldown as Wesker, or as Chucky does, because God pallets are just the worst twins enemy.

These are my mains concerns and overall the solutions seems pretty quick to fix, by just reducing those times, make her feel less cluncky, Slugging feels like a MUST because of how long everything takes, its much more efficient to keep using victor after downing someone than switching (considering 2-4 seconds moving the mouse til the game allows me to switch + taking charlotte to the downed survivor)

Also, shouldnt be an option to recall Victor? This is something I dont understand, because If I leave Victor in a corner, and I want to use it where Charlotte is, I have to switch to him and move it to the area, instead of just recalling it, everytime I want to do this I have to wait til he dies by his own which takes lots of time.

Overall using Twins its fun but the mechanics feels really punishing and clunky, like if it wasnt well designed or programmed. It would help her a LOT to give her some smoothness in his gameplay.

Suggestions:

To avoid slugging so much, I thought a few scenarios:

1) The best IMO would be to being able to teleport somehow Charlotte near Victor, but this might be seen as a bit overtunned in some scenarios, but maybe this could have a longer cooldown, so you cant abuse it.

2) Give Charlotte some seconds of Haste after switching, so she can go faster to the downed survivor

3) Give Victor ability to slide under an used pallet, or make it easier to jump on top of a pallet, this never feels good, you always hit invisible walls.

Please BHVR give Victor and Charlotte some love. Twins are one of the less played killers in the game, and I gave you some of the reasons why this happens, its up to you to improve twins in the next rework, dont mess that up as SM and Trickster, PLEASE :(

I agree with a lot of your sentiments. I have played Twins exclusively since the day they released.

1.I personally think switching back from Charlotte feels fine. It feels bad at first but you do eventually get used to it. Maybe it discouraged new Twins players but I don't mind it. There is an add on to improve it slightly, but I never run it. I think they. Could buff that add on numbers. I think it's the yellow hood. I think they put that cool down though to discourage camping hooks/gens. I think camping would become really strong unless they gave survivors a mechanic to slow her down I.E. tie her shoelaces so she falls down like an old timey cartoon. Kind of like how you slow down dredge by locking lockers.

    2. The Hotboxes are THE WORST!!! I noticed it the minute they broke them. It happened overnight. One day they were not al and great, and the next day they were trashed. It happened when they broke the Huntress aim, but they refuse to fix it. Literally every pallet is an unbreakable god pallet now. Attack on Titan walls is well said. It was NEVER like this before. Victor could jump pallets. It took a little skill especially, but it was rewarding and felt great. I don't think Victor needs a scamper ability. He just needs his hotboxes fixed. Before they broke, I could get a hit at literally every pallet in the game consistently with Victor except for the top of harvester.

Also also, this problem is even worse because Victor doesn't initiate an official chase, so survivors can vault pallets an unlimited number of times. It's absurd. I haven't played in weeks now because they refuse to fix this, and it's insane.

    3. Letting survivors hold Victor is just to give survivors a chance. If they couldn't hold him then the Twins player would just play Victor only and they would be incredibly overpowering. The drawback for survivors holding is that if one is holding Victor, you're essentially playing a 1 V 3 which is a hefty price to pay. I have no problem with the way that is now. I do think you should be able to recall Victor after 30 seconds if you want though. Having him on the totally wrong side of the mapxos frustrating sometimes, but it's not that much a problem overall.

As far as your rework suggestions for, I like the idea of Charlotte teleporting to Victor after downing a survivor. That would definitely decrease slug meta.

Giving Charlotte haste after switching would encourage camping too much though, and again Victor doesn't need scamper. He literally just needs his hotboxes fixed the way they were a month ago.

    My suggestions:

1- Give Victor chucky footsteps so Survivors feel like they have counterplay.

2- GIVE VICTOR HIS OWN COSMETICS! I want a Victor Top Hat.

3- Bring back frosty eyes sometime. I was traveling for the one week they have them out and missed the ONLY free cosmetic they ever released.

    4- FIX VICTOR'S HITBOX NOW!

5- Do nothing else. They're a fine killer. They're fun to play, and fun to play against once you know what you're doing.

6- If you are going to something, maybe let Victor sacrifice himself to send a survivor to the nearest hook at the cost of a 1 minute cool down.

Also also, this problem is even worse because Victor doesn't initiate an official chase, so survivors can vault pallets an unlimited number of times. It's absurd. I haven't played in weeks now because they refuse to fix this, and it's insane.

pre-drop pallets is main gameplay/counter-play to victor. he does move at 150% m/s for that reason. he has to be able to go around pallets and use pounce to create 50/50 gameplay.

I'd just say to reduce his charge time on pounce to 0.75 seconds and reduce toy sword add-on to a lower value such as 5%. I don't think they'll give you pallet vaulting with victor because it is too similar to chucky and both killer are suppose to be unique.

Can someone explain me the philosophy of punishing a killer for using well his power and hitting a survivor? Survivors can hold hostage Victor for a minute (feels like more) I think before Charlotte can recover it, so you are not only powerless in most scenarios, but also super far away with charlotte, so you keep wasting time going from Charlotte to where Victor was (yes, I know you can go somewhere else, but you get the point) All of this only keeps incentivating slugging which feels super boring, not only for survivors but for the killer as well.

big reason to why most shy away from twins. being m1 killer with 0 ability on hostage holding the ability makes twins very easy to do gens. there is too much dead weight time in the killer. This dead weight time forces killer to perform slugging play-style which is not viable against organized strong teams in 4vs1 due to unlimited manual pick up and 4 minute death timers.

Letting survivors hold Victor is just to give survivors a chance. If they couldn't hold him then the Twins player would just play Victor only and they would be incredibly overpowering.

The whole reason to play twins is to play victor. If i want to play m1 killer, Just go play trapper.

    @Devil_hit11

I agree Victor doesn't need to vault pallets. He just needs his ability to skillfully shoot over them back. It was perfectly balanced before. It was difficult but possible and If you missed the timing/distance/direction of your shot, you'd be stunned and get kicked.

Also I disagree that the whole reason to play Twins is to play Victor. Personally, I like playing with Charlotte as well. They really make them feel like one entity when you're doing it well, switching back and fourth, using Victor as a sentinel and using him to down a survivor you hit with Charlotte. Being forced to play Charlotte sometimes is also healthy for the game because it preserves at least some of the basic loop/chase gameplay so survivors have fun, and you learn the basics of M1 killing. Honestly Victor without Charlotte sucks. I've tried Victor only, and if Survivors just hop in lockers there's nothing to do. You need the big sister. The synergy between them is very fun imo.
