Chucky cooldown reduction and scamper change

Right now the most frustrating aspect of playing chucky is his long cooldown, making power drill feel like a necessity to run and encourages overly safe playstyles with scamper.

Though just a reduction in cooldown would make scamper extremely powerful, so I think both should be adjusted at the same time.

  • His cooldown should be reduced to 12s (from 18s)
  • His scamper outside of slice n dice should be increased to 1.8s (from 1.4s)
  • His scamper inside slice n dice should be decreased to 1.2s (from 1.4s)
  • And then reworks to his cooldown add ons, drill and screwdriver

After that he would become one of the best designed killers in the game in my opinion.

As much as I love chucky as a killer (both the voicelines/design) as well as his gameplay, he is a chasing monster and a buff like this I think is very risky since his dash can already get you hits at most loops. I am in a spot where if this buff did happen I would be happy as a chucky player, but I have to also think about the health of the game lol

Chucky has potencial to be S-tier killer above all killers, even nurse and blight. It is just his power restrictions make him a lot worse then he's suppose to be. I do agree that power-drill feels necessary to run. Maybe just adding 30% power-drill into his base-kit would be good. So you get punished if you miss but you get rewarded with hits if your good at his ability. the add-on itself would be reduced to 10%.

The other changes don't seem necessary. he operates fine with current values. The other aspect that would be nice is his old flick back.

I would revert his old flicks at the price of Scampering pallets outside of Slice & Dice. Honestly as high prestige Chucky since that change the killer feels a lot more stale and with a lot less skill expression, also the long cooldown doesn't help at feeling like attempting a fun play (and the game should be more about fun than being optimal, expecially in public lobbies).

There is no room for increasing scamper anymore, you already barely give a hit in some pallets, if survivor expect it, make it 1.8sec and it will be useful only in god pallet.

Scamper inside slice and dice is also useful only for some mobility, it almost never leads to hit after.

Cooldown shouldn't be any less than 15 seconds, which is what Spirit's power is, and they're probably the most similar, a semi-stealth power which you can attack directly from, and is difficult to avoid. And frankly, having a 15s cooldown only from an add-on would probably be best.

These changes to scamper time would make it unusable. It's already pointless during Slice and Dice because the survivor just has to move to the side after the pallet, while in Hidey-Ho, 1.4s is barely enough to score a hit at most pallets.

Yes, it feels so miserable to not being able to hit somebody because of the turn cap.

The only thing I would want to be changed is that the 90 degree cap gets removed. It often discourages me to use his power and try something.

He is a hard to see stealth blight. I think his cooldown should be even longer his add-on to break pallets removed and for sure he should not be allowed to keep attacking after a dashing through a window or pallet.

This killer already is overpowered. If you are struggeling with him maybe you need more practice or this killer simply isn't working for your playstyle.

According to nightlight stats his killrate is in a kind of okay state but from my experience he is the most hated killer to face right now. Many people throw the match or quit once they know it's him. The reason for this is that many chucky players do proximity face camp. They get away with that due to their size and stealth.
