SWF should get an MMR boost

The matchmaking needs a system that boosts the MMR based on the number of survivors in the lobby before you actually queue up for matchmaking. You and a single buddy join together before matchmaking? 5% MMR boost. You got a 4 man group? 15-20% MMR boost. Make it so the stronger teams are more likely to face the stronger killers, while the solos stay with the lesser killers.

Well yeah, the numbers are just an example. To make sure the concept is presented clearly

Why would 4 noob swfs player get better killers to get stomped?

I've seen it, even replied to it as well to help gain traction.

Hello. Seems a very good idea. At least for survivor who plays sometimes swf and sometimes solo-q. If not they are not at the good level

But not every SWF is "trying hard".

I have a friend that's new to the game and she wants to play with me. What would we do in that situation? She would be outmatched even harder. So I just can't play with my friend or if I do she has a horrible experience?

I agree that it sounds nice. That is when it is based on a truly coordinated team. That is not the case for every swf. You should never look to punish players as an answer. This goes for both sides. Increasing difficulty just cause you want to play with your friends is not the way to go.

It's hardly punishing. The tryhard and sweat players are going to be at the high MMR and most affected by this. If you play more casually, you're going to be lower to mid MMR, which makes you less affected and less likely to encounter more skilled players. The idea is to make it less likely for a match where either side gets stomped

If it is based on skill of the survivors then they will climb or not based on their skill. You would naturally not see them in lower skill matches anyway. So why do something that is targeting them.

A better solution could be to have their MMR gains greater. Then every win pushes them up higher faster. This would be a good compromise.

Survivors should have a separate SWF MMR, that can be higher than their normal MMR if their win rates get boosted when they play in a SWF. This will help properly match survivors that play in coordinated SWFs, without affecting the players that aren’t leveraging their SWFs for extra game advantages.

SWF MMR calculations should also be weighted much more heavily on the highest MMR teammate, so that survivors don’t get easy MMR killers just because they brought a low MMR teammate.
