This is exactly why the meter needs to stay or DS and OTR need to remain in the endgame. If 4 survivors are still alive when the generators are completed, it was a tough match. It happens to everyone. Getting one kill during the endgame is like scoring a touchdown with no time left on the clock when the score is 28-0. Now it's 28-6. Good for you :)

I think the one that brings the better stuff wins in DBD at equal skill level.
If i play Nurse and bring full slowdown . I will win. If i play 4man with comms, map offering and strong items, i win.
Tunneling is insanely strong. It has the strenght to remove a survivor from the match early. That it true. Tunneling does not mean that the killer plays unfair though. If they dont tunnel, they play nice. Nobody said that tunneling is unfair.

But each map has 2 gates, they will just yo-yo you until one of the two opens. After that they just all run out while tbagging you.

Counter point: Survivors shouldn't be guaranteed an escape if they were caught endgame. If there's 3 other survivors, they already have a really good chance of escaping the unhook without additional aid. The changes were made because there are hooks close enough to the exit gate that guarantee escape with these active at endgame. Heck, some are still guaranteed with basekit BT.

Counter-counter point: I never said survivors should be guaranteed an escape.
Maybe they missed their Decisive, maybe you had Blood Warden on stand-by. All fair play.
The end game is no place for pity kills or escapes, it is part of the game. I don't mind if DS doesn't activate at the end, but I don't think it was as bad as it is said to have been.

Counter-Counter-Counter point: It's not just DS that's active in these situations. Other survivors can bodyblock, basekit BT can extend it, other survivors can run unhook perks and BT to extend the time, etc etc and guarantee an escape, even in live now without DS, and all that revision does is punish the killer for managing a down against those odds regardless if the survivor has the ability to miss a skillcheck.

Counter-counter-counter-counter point: There isn't anything wrong with a coordinated save against a facecamper at the end game. They are never guaranteed to work.
Unless you mean the only problematic aspect was DS still being active at the end of the game, then I see your point.

"Perks should be strong" Ah, yes, then bring back old CoB, Overcharge, and Eruption so the gen kick meta returns-
Also if they heavily toned down a lot of the survivor perks that sped up gen repair speeds while also buffing the overall gen regression speed(not instant regression) so that it's no longer 4 seconds to regress 1 second of the gen while also adding in features to make getting downs easier then there'd be less tunneling and camping in the game. Right now killer players are essentially backed into a corner where the only way for them to play is to tunnel and camp to secure at least one kill and making the game EASIER for survivors is just gonna keep pushing killers back into that corner. If they were to do the opposite and make the game harder for survivors or just easier for killers then it'd encourage your average killer player to want to leave the hook and chase someone else.
It's the whole reason why I say that BHVR have been only worsening the game's health by trying to make it easier for survivors because all they've been doing is encouraging those play styles then trying to get rid of them without adding something in for the killers to reward them well enough for playing differently.
