Pick either option A, B, C, or D, for a Skull merchant change
I'm wondering whicth one people would pick out of the following for changes to Skull merchant (as a SM main), ignore add ons, assume they would be reworked accordingly.
For reference, her base kit is currently:
- Hindered duration: 6s
- Hindered strength: 10% (5% weaker than clowns bottles)
- Haste effects for number of survivors tracked:
- 1 survivor: 3%
- 2: 5%
- 3: 6%
- 4: 7% (7% of 4.6, not 7% on top of the 6%, 5%, etc)
Option A:
- Hindered duration reduced to 3s
Option B:
- Hindered duration reduced to 3s
- Hindered strength reduced to 5%
- Haste values buffed to:
- 1: 4%
- 2: 6%
- 3: 8%
- 4: 9%
Option C:
- Hindered removed entirely
- Claw trap duration increased to 60s (current base kit is 45s)
- Haste values buffed to:
- 1: 4%
- 2: 7%
- 3: 9%
- 4: 10%
- Gain a +5% action speed bonus for each tracked survivor
Option D (tracking monster option):
- Hindered removed entirely
- Claw trap duration increased to 80s
- Increased time survivor is tracked by after being scanned to 30s (current base kit is 12s)
- Gain a +5% action speed bonus for each tracked survivor
Personally, I'd go option B or C.

I'd rather keep the Hindered and remove the Haste.

Wouldn't mind any reasonable changes to be honest.

Haste needs to stay to make tracking during chase not completely pointless.

Haste is way better for her than Hindered. It just feels better to play her for sure. Hindered is last resort you often don't even reach in chase.

B

option D. 5% action speed is useless. better to just increase all haste values by 2%, (5%/7%/8%/9%).

I'd rather bhvr just admit to bad design and remove Skull Merchant, or just leave the killer so bad that players don't want to play them. The whole idea of drones as they are now and before remove choices from survivors, which is what good game designers don't want to do.

The auto injury needs to go too. Deleting her all together would also be nice 😂.

Option D is the closest one I'd pick.
Remove Hindered from her kit entirely, no add-ons for it either. It's I don't think an action speed bonus would be that worth it, Skull Merchant going Haste mode fits her primal instincts as a hunter-like killer, so I'd be fine with having her Haste buffed by just a little teeny bit to compensate for the removal of the Hindered effect.
Her radar is my favorite part of her kit, so buffing her tracking ability would be nice by making the claw trap batteries last for 45 seconds rather than 30.

Leave her alone

C, but I wouldn't even buff the haste.
And as I said in another discussion, add animations per haste stack to make her look more on the prowl as the haste increases so survivors know she's slightly faster and more of a threat. Because does she ever need to have ANYTHING threatening about her as a character.

5% for each survivor, so if 3 were tracked it would be 15%.

it is worthless. wraith has 60% pallet break speed with shadow dance+serpent and he still can't hit people by breaking pallets. Your better off just increasing haste by flat 2% which gives 10% pallet break by the virtue of moving faster.
You need roughly 120% pallet break speed for pallet break to be worth anything. The only add-on that provides 120% pallet break speed was Blight's compound 33. this add-on got removed for that.
