This is most poorly thought out patch I've seen BHVR push in a long time.....what is going on?

-Non existing cooldown Billy is truly overpowered, did BHVR just forget why they introduced a cooldown in the first place? Is everyone new there?

-Menu screen that literally nobody asked for and was designed beyond poorly...like come on guys...is it that hard to design a freaking game menu? you have hundreds of thousands of examples that work by now in other games.

-Releases survivor with the worst perks I've ever seen, literally worthless. Then decides to nerf them more after getting feedback that they were terrible...

-STBFL changes that literally promote tunneling....why....just....why?! THIS MAKES ZERO SENSE!

-Grim embrace with dms....because we didn't learn the first time?

-Somehow managed to give knight even more bugs?! like can I seriously get a play by play of what the freaking heck ya'll were going this whole time to "fix" it?

-Sadakeo.....nuff said...smh

-Unlimited rushes for blight....I just want to be in the room when that idea was pitched and listen to the response....cause I can't even imagine the absurdity that went down when they team hit the okay button on that...

I saw a video of the new Billy and it has me scared. I’m enough of a chainsaw magnet already, I don’t need it to penetrate me faster or more often.

"No cooldown" on Hillbilly. That's interesting. You may want to check the patch notes on that one. They did not remove any of his cooldowns. They toned them down because he was overly punishing. 2.5 seconds is enough. I do not see how this is overpowered. The extra cooldown reduction from his addons are not needed but his base kit is completely fine. Even with both the Greased Throttle and the Thompson Mix I'd argue he is still not overpowered. But he is indeed very oppressive. As he should be.

The new menu screen is not a big deal. It will take some getting used to and it's a little inconvenient that you have to click twice before you can queue up but it's not like this ruins the game. Apparently, this was introduced so that they can add different game modes in the future. I don't get why this would be necessary but whatever.

Alan Wake's perks are undertuned. That's true. The boon perk can be pretty nice though. However, it still needs some buffs.

There were a lot of possibilities to nerf STBFL but they chose the worst option. Have you seen what happens when you use it on Deathslinger? You can literally lose all 8 stacks for one chase with the obsession. That is not good. The funny thing is that M1 killers will still use this perk because it's an absolute necessity.

The GE + DMS combo is pretty disgusting. I mean, what is that survivor supposed to do? Twiddle their thumbs until DMS ends? Worse than the actual strength of this combination is the fact, that it leaves survivors with literally nothing to do until that gen is unblocked. It's Eruption all over again (although, not quite as strong).

I don't know about any new Knight bugs. You sure these aren't just the ones he's always had? The sad thing about Knight is that these bugs provide pretty much the only counterplay he has. Technically speaking, this is however using exploits. Knight's design is flawed to the core.

Sadako was in a pretty good spot on the PTB. These nerfs are unreasonable. Especially since she got no compensatory buffs.

I find it weird, that after all the PTB feedback Blight still got to keep his infinite rushes. There were enough clips of people showcasing the absurdity to know, that this could not stay.

The Twins have been bugged for almost 2 months (even on the PTB). BHVR still hasn't fixed those bugs...

Billy is genuinely VERY overtuned. I refused to play the PTB just to see him come to main game in the same state. Kind of reminiscent of when Xeno came and everyone was preaching how balanced she was without actually having a point to justify how absurd the ability was.

The menu screen had to be busy work. Really similar situation with the character portraits, just made stuff worse and look less professional. And they are apparently overloaded with priorities lol.

Alan Wake's perks are just Shrine of Secret garbage level. Will probably see them every three weeks on the shrine.

STBFL is just a waste of a perk slot now.

The list goes on but yeah it's literally insane what's going on.

Stbfl is still THE staple in my builds. It's effect is not replaceable. It's that important of a perk for killers with bad chase.

STBFL kept me sane on my Trapper streaks... Sad to see it gutted.

Billy is largely fine. He might be a touch on the OP side, but he's far healthier than the sad, destitute version we saw for three years after BHVR essentially kneecapped the poor bastard. And while not as high as before, there is still a high floor there. Billy is like a really raw but powerful sports car it takes a certain driver to win. I have no real issue with Billy.

But the Sadako fiasco...ugh. Between that and some other things, it's seems like the dev team has a shocking lack of awareness of why people tunnel, and what encourages/discourages the behavior. Stupefying, really.

I'm afraid they'll give up on Sadako after making a bunch of alterations no one asked for, none of the ones everyone suggested, and wondering why people aren't satisfied.

I'm not usually the patient who questions the doctor makes, but in some cases it really seems the devs (or some of them at least, I imagine they're divided into teams) just don't have a firm grasp on what they're doing. Sometimes it really feels like there is this ego based, contrarian, "we're the experts, we're not going to be told what works by the players" attitude, and it's no bueno.
