Sacrificial Ward buff
Sacrifical Ward is a green offering that nullifies all map offerings in the lobby. However, there are "issues" with it:
- it's a green offering, so it costs a bit, and investing into it means not investing into BP offerings, addons, items etc.
- using it means not bringing a BP offering that match, which a lot of people feel bad about
- it gets wasted every match there are no map offerings
Since the only incentive to bring a sacrifical ward is to counter map oferings that give advantage to the map offerer(s), the sacrifical ward offerer misses out on bloodpoints, since they are not bringing a bloodpoint offering. And if there are no map offerings, the sacrifical ward offering is wasted.
How about the Sacrifical Ward does not get consumed in matches where there are no map offerings? The player who uses it already is missing out on bloodpoints, and there's only a handful of sac offerings available in the inventory. I feel like this would be fair.
At the end of the day, sacrifical ward is an offering that counters the abuse of a map offering by the other side. Ultimately what we want is for all the maps to be well balanced, so no map offering is a detriment to either side. But until then, could we give Sacrificial Ward some love? <3
TL;DR I propose Sacrificial Offerings not get consumed when there are no map offerings offered.

Great idea.

I would actually hate the removal of map offerings. I am in the category of people who mostly uses map offerings for maps that I crave - aesthetically, atmospherically. I'll send myself to Dead Dawg or Midwich (2 killer sided maps) as a survivor, simply because I enjoy them so much, and/or I've been getting too much of macmillan or any other map and want variety. Sometimes I'll send myself to a map for a challenge. For Fall From Great Heights, I'll send myself usually to Dead Dawg. For breaking pallets as killer, I'll send myself to Gideon (a survivor sided map lol).
I'll even send myself to Lery's as Huntress, because I have had great games there with her for some reason.
Imo removing the map offerings would make the game boring (from the perspective of not being able to go to a map you love). Balancing out the map is a long-term solution. Even if no-one uses a map offering, and one of the sides gets a bad map for them with RNG, the other side could dominate them just because of the imbalance.
Also, no map offerings would destroy the Scratched Mirror Myers, because he is extremely dependent on maps.
