Seriously!!! What's wrong with the servers (EU)

The servers were never really stable, but now it's getting more and more ridiculous.

The main problem for killer matches is that servers very often diconnect mid game. After ~5 minutes, matches suddenly crash after a huge lag. It's annoying but bearable. Still I'm pretty pissed when the game just crashed.

But on the survivor side it's just atrocious. Not only do crashes occure mid game but the worst annoying moments are when the game just doesn't recognize the enviroment. For example, in my last 3 games I had pallet drop delays because the game didn't recognize the pallet. The drop palett input didn't appear on the screen even though I was standing or running next to a pallet. In the second game I had a disconnection allthough my internet was stable. In the third game the game refused to recognize a vault location. It took 2 seconds before the game gave me the option to vault it. Another good example is the delay when you try to heal a teammate. It's not that game breaking because most of the time you're not in such a hurry when you heal someone, but still you can see a ~2 second delay when u or your teammate try to heal someone. How I'm supposed to play this game, especially chases, with those huge handicaps.

As I said, my internet is stable, the ping is low. I'm playing on console (PS4) and the controller is plugged with a cable to my console. So this shouldn't be any input delays but just slow servers who doesn't seem to keep up with the game. I don't know what else I can do the prevent this s**** . Please help!!!

This has been happening to me too and I live on the East Coast of the U.S.

I have had killer matches, where I was struggling and pulled it back at the very end only for the game to DC. Makes me so mad 😡

I've had this happen to me twice today. Tough games, playing as Onryo, but I manage to swing it back and start applying very strong pressure. And then all of a sudden the game just crashes and ends. That's a good 10-15 minutes of gameplay on each game, wasted. And what sucks is that it appears that survivors at least get to keep their BP when this happens, but the killer gets nothing. It's making me wonder if there is some hack that lets a player pull the plug on a match like that with no penalty. There was a player in one of those lobbies that had a very suspicious steam account (very low hours for their skill), and they ran no perks. Or it good just be actual server issues.

I’m not entirely sure, but it is very frustrating and it seems to conveniently be usually when I’m pulling back a match that was rough, nearly about to win the whole thing and all the sudden the game just crashes out.

this could also be a possibility, as well, that I will pass along with you just in case, I play on PlayStation, and sometimes my game won’t fully close because the app is temporarily suspended, so when I load back into it the next day play a few matches I end up getting booted later on because there was a server disconnection error. 🤷🏼‍♂️

As far as I could see Survs also loose their BP, but they were still shown in the endgame screen for the other players. At least it was that way when I played survs. I'm not sure what about the items and add-ons, but I guess they are gone aswell and that really s***s when it's no ones fault that the game crashed.
