Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

New Sloppy Should Not Work With Vigil

This perk is only good on the weaker killers, and Vigil will make the timer less than 40 seconds... if all 4 survivors have it

27 seconds saved if 1 person has it

Indeed, no counterplay is good gameplay.

I’m sorry but didn’t they also buff some weaker Killers in the same update?

I don’t think we should keep Sloppy the way it is, instead Killers should be buffed to be less dependent on it.

It only added 4 seconds to the heal timer though it makes no sense to nerf it this way.

Like even nerfing it half adding 2 seconds would still be bad.

This perk was just nice for time, not keeping everyone injured. Now it has neither.

Plus Trapper/Freddy/Myers didn't get buffed so just because they buffed killers doesn't mean this change is good for everyone.

4/16 perks to fight 1/4 as killers, ill take those odds.

If all 4 survivors are huddled together stacking vigil and waiting for mangled to end instead of just healing each other...I think you have a very good chance of winning the match.

If all 4 survivors are cuddling with vigil just to reduce mangled timers they are basically throwing.

Then use other slowdown and perks. If it's "only 4 seconds of slowdown", run something else that has more slowdown potential. If healing is an issue, there are other anti-healing perks to use.

Also if Survivors wait out the Mangled, they ultimately are leaving themselves vulnerable. If they all huddle together with Vigil, they are wasting time by not doing Generators (and if they are doing Generators, it's note very efficient compared to splitting Gens).

I personally dont mind it, having more options and strategies to playing as Survivors makes the game more dynamic, the opens the room to actually thinking instead of playing an M1 simulator. Likewise, as Killer, it makes me weight the costs and benefits to perks more,

To put it bluntly, I like this change.

    Vigil does not affect Mangled.

It used to, but there's been no mention of them adding that back.
