My opinion on the Mangled change

I honestly feel like this defeats the ENTIRE purpose of the effect. The effect is meant to slow the survivors down, but if you put a time limit on the effect then this is how everything is gonna play out: Survivor gets unhooked with the Mangled effect, survivor chooses to bumrush gens now, heal later with no slowdown at all. This effect is supposed to be used as a form of slowdown, but does that sound like slowdown to you? To me that is just brain-dead gameplay instead of being decision making gameplay which is counter-intuitive for what BHVR intends it to be.

All I can see this change causing is more survivors wanting to run Resilience even more and killers not wanting to run stuff with Mangled making it yet another forgotten status effect.

I think smart survivors will heal through it anyway. Staying injured just to dodge mangled is going to lead to easy downs.

A truly dedicated survivor will choose correctly whether to care for the injury or not and repair the generator. The fact that the effect disappears after a certain amount of time is only a reward and there is no risk.

This is true, for newcomers/average Survivors that aren't confident in their looping ability to be able to take a chase while injured.

Those will quickly heal through Mangled (like before) and nothing will really change.

However veteran players will simply wait out the timer and work on gens more, confident in their skill, healing at normal speed when needed after Mangled has worn off.

This is also yet another slap in the face of weaker/M1 Killers that used Sloppy Butcher frequently (when's the last time you saw a Nurse or Blight use this perk effectively).

I think Hemorrhage was more of an issue since it essentially deleted perks that gave healing progress (Resurgence, Reactive Healing etc.) and all they could have done is make healing progress given by those perks impossible to regress.
