So I guess Survivors should get ready for 10 hatchet Huntress games?
In the Dev note, they have removed one of the buffs they gave to the Huntress, that being the movement speed increase while holding a hatchet, which was a good call, the issue is they didn't remove the new hatchet amount, which with add-ons is just absurd. (they didn't mention any add-on changes so I assume that they kept them)
Good way to make a mostly beloved Killer an absolute drag to play against and a cheap band aid fix to terrible locker spawns.

Funny how they reverted the base time of the RBTs immediately and left the buffs for huntress untouched when literally everyone disagreed with them.

It doesn't make much sense to try to dodge the hatchets now and camping huntress became much stronger. What's going on?

I'm glad the movement speed while holding the hatchet is gone because that was just absurd. Ten hatchets with 10% faster windup time I'm not too sure about though, there'll definitely be a noticeable difference in games.

Okay let me stop you right here.
First, most beloved? Nah and in fact I dislike to play againts her allready because her power is just boring.
Second, absolute drag to play againts because she has now +2 extra hatches? Seriously? Sounds pretty overreacting tbh.
Damn I never expected defend Huntress buffs and I am not fan of her on both sides either.

Okay let me stop the stopping.
Just because you don't like her doesn't suddenly make everybody hate her aswell, from what I have seen, she is loved by the community, the only thing that I mostly see people hating about her is: How much is she played (every Killer will get boring after a while when there is no variety) and her hitboxes.
+2 hatchets is huge, making her best add-ons base-kit is like if Blight got one of his old speed add-ons base-kit, dodging 8 hatchets was already quite hard, as you may know, but dodging 10 is basically impossible, even bad Huntresses will hit one of those at some point.

Honestly, the extra hatchets is just an incredibly lazy buff choice. Its true she had map dependency issues but what about the other locker killers like dredge and trickster? It's just an incredibly lazy fix to a locker dependent killer that probably out of the two others was the least map dependent.
Its about time bhvr starts caring about locker placements if they want to have multiple killers interact with them.
And bhvr, please don't forget to reduce her hatchets again when you adress the lockers!

I'm disappointed they're going through with this. We need more lockers, not more hatchets. It's not going to feel like there's any reward for dodging hatchets now when she has so many without having to reload. Sure, you could have 8 hatchets before, but that required 2 addon slots, now you get 7 basekit along with faster wind-up and you still have 2 addon slots. Or you can just have 10 hatchets.
At least the faster movement speed while holding a hatchet is gone, that was even more obnoxious.
