Survivor perks are OP.

There is not much to say. I think some of the survivor perks in this game are so strong, that they carry entire matches without the survivors putting much effort into actually winning. I am mostly talking about all the perks, that give you second chances and second health states. I am a blight main. Not the best one either, but i would say i am decent. So i play one of the strongest killers in the game and most of the second chance perks, espacially deadhard, absolutely counter me. During lethal rush, DH is so easy to pull off. Counterplay is limited. I could rush past them, but then there is a chance they find new cover. If i don´t have another rush, or the map just doesn´t allow it, that is not even an option. So i go for the swing, i hit the deadhard and now i will lose another like 20 to 30 seconds. Maybe less, if the survivor isn´t that good. But maybe more, if he is. Most of the time i have no other choice but to eat every extra health state and lose the game, if i am not running some 4 gen-slowdown meta bs build. That is all i have to say. I hate second chances. Not so mention whole builds around it. (Worst example i can think of rn would be off the record, into the ds, into the dh).

I know the pick rate for dh has decreased a lot, since its big nerf, but i am pretty sure i see at least one, if not multiple deadhards every single game. And as a blight main, it is frustrating me. Maybe i am just trash and don´t know how to play around it. Keep in mind with windows of opportunity, basically everyone can just run to the nearest pallet and i am forced to swing and eat the dh.

I was a Blight main when Dead Hard was at its peak. All I did to counter it was rush at them but, instead of attacking, I just ran into something after running past and their Dead Hard was gone. Bait swinging was also easy to pull off but apparently not to others. As a Blight you shouldn't feel like the down is a guarantee and need to take perks into account just like any other killer has to. Dead Hard was absolutely gutted and you can only use it twice now and the activation window is really short. Patience is key when dealing with it.

Only twice per match he says. That is still not that big of a difference, compared to old dead hard lol. Lets say every survivor in a game has dh. That is 8 more health states to go through. So stop talking with your typical survivor main brain

they are. Way too good. Survivors can just throw themselves at me, with no way for me to punish them. If you call this balanced in any way, you are delusional

using dh against blight has like a 80% chance to work, which is really annoying, and yeah sure blight is strong but not so strong that he can deal with at least 4 extra health states every match (unless he is using double iri I guess)

This is the only one I'll give them credit for. M1 killers mainly suffer from off-the-hook bodyblockers running this combo. I've ran it myself to a lot of success.

Dead Hard is only OP, or to phrase it more accurately, 'uncounterable' in situations where the Survivor has enough distance on the Killer. Where if they do not go for a lunge, the Survivor makes it to a pallet of vault. It's uncounertable in that regard because the Survivor has the freedom to use it perfectly and the Killer cannot avoid it.

In general, Dead Hard is the most balanced it's been in its existence.

The only thing OP about Survivor perks at the moment is Background Player, and the combination of Buckle Up+For The People.

Background Player is getting adjusted, but will sadly stay OP ('uncounterable') with the new update.

Buckle Up is being changed, and will only be OP ('uncounterable') in certain situations where the designated FTP Survivor has Made For This with it.

DH can be countered by Blight in some instances by baiting it. Rush into a wall next to them and either run past them or slam next to them.

That being said you will eat most DH's if the Survivors are sentient, but its not like its that bad considering you can just catch up to them very quickly.

Me while pressing E results me in getting downed half of the time because the killer plays from Mars.
