Sable and Unknown changes
- [NEW] Weakness’ duration now increases by 6 seconds when a Survivor is injured by UVX.
- [CHANGE] Increased Hindered effect on airborne hits from 3% to 6%
- [CHANGE] Increased Blindness duration for the Homemade Mask Add-On to 60 seconds (was 45 seconds)
I kinda liked having to hide myself a little bit during chase but this will unequivocally make Unknown stronger. I don't think the hindered would be noticeable until about 8% but I'm willing to see how it is honestly it would be nicer if the duration was buffed a bit. The mask was not a bad add-on because of the duration lol.
I don't know if this is enough to definitely make Unknown A tier but it's very possible .
- [CHANGE] When the Invocation is completed, permanently reduce the required charges of all Generators by 10 (previously added 15 charges of progress during the PTB)
Well, we got what a lot of people asked for. Is it too strong? Does it still suck? This is a rare case where I have no idea and am gonna have to play with it but it seems like a fair trade on paper at least. But hey 80 second gens are back?
- [CHANGE] Increased healing speed to 70% (was 60% during PTB)
I think this change is insane personally and it was already a good perk but thanks to everyone who complained for buffing me?
- [REWORKED] Your self-unhook attempts in the basement always succeed. When you are unhooked or unhook yourself, you see the Killer’s aura for 16/18/20 seconds.
Dev note: We didn’t feel the original Perk was very effective, so we have given it an overhaul. The ability to unhook yourself from a basement hook may come in handy if you’re caught during an invocation, but be warned, Killers may catch on and carry to a hook above ground! The aura reading effect will allow you to gain some value from this Perk even if you are never hooked in the basement.
Added the dev note here as it confirms you get the aura reading on every hook which is actually pretty good. Now you'll always know if healing under the hook is safe or not and if the killer does choose to tunnel you'll have wall hacks for a decent amount of time to try and loose them. Think this is a genuinely pretty good perk.

Unknown will be stomp new survivors, that's for sure. Like how BHVR thought this counterplay will be fine when low mmr survivors are running straight and not looking behind.
I hope i am wrong but i already see it: This killer will stomp every low mmr teams while on high levels it will be joke. Yeah i am not fan of this killer.

basement self care will genuinely be a good perk
guarantee you it’s the next perk people complain about for some reason

giving the unknown the ability to down survivors in 3 shots seems like a nice skill ceiling increase. I am hyped to see how it feels in game!
The hinderance isnt really meant to help in chase, its more of a consolation for shooting through the survivors due to how slowed down the unknown itself gets. It seems like a nice change but shouldn't change anything about how strong the unknown is.
The Weaving spider perk seems great too, it now reduces the effectiveness of every gen regression perk. It seems a bit more worthy of its downside, again need to see this in game.
Self healing perks always are a bit iffy with me, so going from 60% (26,7 seconds) to 70% (22,9 seconds) seems like a big increase in speed. Though the reasoning they gave with needing to travel to basement seems fine. I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt here.
I love the concept of wicked! Might be really strong in the right hands and a 20 second aura read is great in tunneling situations. I am excited!

It already was, if you paired it with Botany you could very close to a default-speed heal. I don't know exactly how the numbers break down but I'm pretty sure now that heal will be faster than default speed.
I don't think complaints will be justified, mind you, but I do think this perk was already pretty damn good on the PTB and extra speed just heightens that.

I predict the future...
Strength in the shadow will be nerfed around September/October 2024
Invocation will not be used by anyone (other than content creators for funny videos).
Wicked is the classic perk for "roulette perk". However, I like that it can help against tunneling
My crystal ball can't predict the future of Unknown.... I am sorry 🤣

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to the devs for buffing sables perks. You didn’t have to do that, but I’m glad you did. I appreciate your efforts. Thank you.

I still think the Broken status is too much for Weaving Spiders. It should either go away after they get hooked or have a duration of 60-120 seconds. Perma-broken is still too much.

That’s most killers in the roster lol.

That's not true at all. Some killers are more complicated than others and harder to play against for low mmr survivors.
Unknown is one of them.

I don't think a killer that forces survivors to do something they should be doing anyway is a bad thing tbh.

It’s very true…Most of the killers pub stomp with the exception of nurse and blight that are a lot harder to control, but they smash in high mmr.

I am very pleased with every single one of the changes.
That doesn't happen often. Good job Devs.

Actually like these changes. Are there any further changes to the other killers? Huntress or Pig changes?

They reverted the speed while holding hatchets buff and the RBT timer nerf, everything else from PTB was unchanged about them.

My complains about the Unknown is that when you hit the survivor with your orb, the orb should explode withou any kind of Hinderance, specially since it requires at least 2 shots to cause some damage. But lets see how it plays into live.

15 second heal. it is faster then original med-kits...
6% hindered is still too low. should be around 10%.

I mean if the counterplay for a killer is "improve at the game" then it might be a bit of a more noob stompy character but it will teach good lessons
5 -
Yeah, that's what I meant.
It was 17 seconds on the PTB, so slightly slower than the default 16. Now it's 15, which is slightly faster.
Good perk, for sure.

Very oppresive? It took 4 hits with his power to down a healthy survivor lmao

Another example of killer being baby stomper but punchimg bag at at last mid tier survivors.

Being in the basement for 120 seconds is super risky and time wasting. But I like the change where it runs like a Brand New Part, but not being able to heal after kills the perk, I like your idea.

All killers can stomp low mmr survivors 🤦♂️

I'm so surprised that they actually did adjustments on Sable's perks because the last 2 chapters, they kept asking feedback on survivor perks and didn't even tweak them even though everyone was screaming how trash they are.
