Do you think Blight should be changed to 110%?
I'm not sure where I exactly stand on this. My friend brought this up yesterday and I thought he had a good point, so thought I'd share here.
Why is the highest mobility killer in the game still a fully functioning M1 killer outside of his power? Especially when his power recharge is so short and forgiving compared to many killers who have even worse powers.
Would this even be a meaningful change? Is it unnecessary? Would it lower skill expression or raise it?

No he’s fine at 115%. 110% killers are supposed to be like that because they can use their power to hit a survivor in every single situation. Blight can’t do that at shorter loops, and him being 110% would be a nightmare on those tiles for the killer.

What do you mean he can’t do that at shorter loops. The junkie can hug tech. Even without it, that doesn’t make sense either because shorter loops equate to the unsafe/trash tiles that he can hit you on anyway.

I'm struggling to think of loops that Blight can't get hits on honestly, even short pallets he often just puts you in a 50/50 and in reality with his speed and turn radius it's usually more of a 60/40 in his favor.

Blight is already a pretty map dependant killer as he basically doesnt work on indoor maps.
Make him 110 and he basically has no chance on them.
2 -
Exactly. So I don't know why they can't just put him in 110 category. But this is bhvr. They are honestly just slowly normalizing range killers and high mobile power killers to be 115 killers anyways. Gotta keep that 60/40 kill/escape rate that they praise so much about.

Indoor maps make up 12.5% of the total map pool. I'd also go as far to say that he's rather deadly on RPD and Midwich, if you're caught in a hallway in Midwich or anywhere in the middle on RPD you're in pretty big trouble.
Even so, 12.5% of maps that aren't in your favor is hardly map dependent in my eyes.

No! We already have the OPTION to play 110 Billy but NOBODY USES THE ADDON

Indoor maps are the main offenders but he still has others.
Nostromo, Swamps and Haddonfield just to name a few. They either have dog collision or have really tight corridors, or both.

Isn’t the killer in your picture 115% and does exactly what you described a 110 killer?

Agreed. 110% movement speed is reserved for killers with extremely strong / oppressive chase powers. Blight is undoubtedly a top 5 chase power in the game, yet he seems to be the exception for 115.

I actually thought about this at some point. Blight would need massive buffs to his power compensate if he were 110%. Faster recharge speed, adjusted turn rate, and 10% faster rushes and a faster cooldown. On the flipside it would be interesting to go against an M2 only Blight and would raise his skill floor heavily as he would no longer be able to M1 as much and allow for more freedom and experimental plays if his power cooldown is shorter. I feel like if they made him 110% they would also have to restore his techs such as the J-flick.
I do believe base-kit Blight is the epitome of a balanced killer but the idea of a 110% Blight that never M1's and goes for sick rushes only is interesting to think about.

Still not a fan of 110 movement speed on killers

Blight fine at 115% honestly. I like going up against him tho so maybe im just bias.
also he feel way more fair after his last nerfs so let him sit for a while

Blight being 4.6 has never been the issue.

well, spirit is 4.4 and she´s one of the best killers in the game, i don´t think blight needs to be 4.4 too

if you can handle a power-using blight i'm sure you will be just fine against a normal m1 killer. this change will only discourage newbies from trying him out.

Blight is guaranteed hits at almost every tile in the game you can't greed against him. The % of blights that can actually play at that level very small though. They don't want to alienate people from playing him even more so they won't make him 110%.

It doesn't really match any criteria for a 110 killer though, since he isn't going through objects, invisible while in power, 2 feet tall and undetectable, set traps that let him teleport, or a ranged killer. It would just be an exception made because some people are too good at him.

Do I think Blight should be 110%? Yes
Do I think it will ever happen? No, not really.
It just would be nice if Blight actually had a weakness as opposed to either being extremely strong or just average in every section of the map.
2 -
Yes, he should be 110
And Trickster as well
2 -
No. Personally I think all killers should be 115% except for Nurse. I think k it would be best for muscle memory and helping new/casual players with a more streamlined experience.
2 -
Except Huntress can’t hit anything on indoor maps/ high wall loops/ small high rock loops. So I would say that’s not why killers are 110

I think it doesn't make much sense to make blight a 110 killer because it really doesn't change anything with a good blight player because they're getting power hits 90%+ of the time anyway. It will make the killer significantly harder to play for lower skill players though and I have to ask whether that's the kind of player you really want to nerf on blight? Good ones will still destroy, bad blights will struggle even more on a relatively hard to play killer.

See I get this argument, but when your power allows you to get hits on every tile in the game, I don't know if you should also be able to just play normal M1 when your powers on cooldown. I get this makes it easier for newer players, but if you're playing Blight and not using your power for hits or chase then why play Blight? Learning to use his power is part of the process, of course you're going to struggle at first and more than likely lose a majority of your games, but it's necessary if you want to be good with him.
Like Nurse is a prime example of a counterargument in my eyes as they're going to get power hits 90+% of the time but making her something like 105-110% would be more forgiving for newer players that struggle using her power. It's just not necessary at all as her power is so oppressive in chase when used correctly, just like Blight's. And I get this isn't a perfect 1 to 1 comparison as Nurse breaks about every rule of this game, but Blight's mobility and chase potential is right up there with her if not better in certain scenarios.

The difference is that with nurse distance is the primary counter play since she can only blink so far. When blights power activates he's so fast and goes so far that distance becomes nearly irrelevant the moment he activates his power and only positioning/mind games becomes relevant. If nurse moves faster she can walk until you are close enough that its impossible to miss because she goes through walls and distance is the ONLY thing that prevents her from just blinking on top of you and hitting you.
