7.5.1 Firing Pinhead chains is broken and has 5 FOV transitions
In the latest bugfix patch, Pinhead for some reason has 5 jarring camera transitions to a new FOV when firing chains.
- The player FOV
- When you enter the gateway, the camera has a very narrow FOV
- Immediately upon firing, the camera zooms out a lot to the player FOV
- In the middle of the shot, the FOV suddenly decreases
- At the end of the shot, the FOV suddenly decreases even more
- The camera snaps back to the player's FOV setting

Another update, another Pinhead camera bug.

I just found out that Pinhead's camera is WORKING COMPLETELY FINE when you spectate a pinhead playing. There are no crazy dolly zooms and multiple FOV transitions for the spectator, it just works as it's supposed to. It's only broken for the player.

The funny thing for me is the spectator view showing how laggy the server is. on client you dont see this hiccups like on the spectator view.

That's unfortunately a result of my recording. I ran DBD twice on the same computer and the spectator client was the background process, so the recording had occasional stutters for it.

I thought I was going mad until I found this thread. Please fix this, it makes playing the pinman a horrible experience.

Still broken. Ruined my favorite killer, impossible to play because the muscle memory I learned over the course of a year of maining him means nothing. Thanks BHVR, I'll be following this thread to know when to install the game again.

The multiple FOV transition bug appears to have been fixed on the PTB, though the original camera transition bug remains.

you know that's progress, the FOV changing after you use a chain was even more disorienting than the dollyzoom for me LOL and hopefully by fixing and testing that bug they may work more on the chain FOV

Considering that Trapper's tar bottle took two years to fix (he now has a bug where the trap floats to show its presence to the survivor ......) and Hillbilly's mouse sensitivity took seven years to fix, the Cenobite bug was fixed in about a yearIt's amazing how fast it took them to fix the cenobite bug. You can do it, BhVR.
It would also be great if you could get a handle on the bug where the Knight's Guards get stuck on the corners of stair railings and other objects because it will be two years old by the end of this year.
