No BP offerings during the Event?

Why are the BP offerings "flying away" on the offering screen as if they are canceled by the Blood Moon offering?
Isn't this Event all about getting BP?
Why are they not allowed?

It seems that the new event offering cancels all other BP offerings. And in the devstream they literally said no other event will guarantee you the amount of BP as the Blood Moon Event does xD.

For now I don't even come close to the 300k per match during 7th year anniversary. I am at around 40k per match now.

The bonus caps out at 2X. The devstream was lying to our faces.
