Demo needs power restriction around totems how you do beat a Hex Devour Demo?

He puts a portal against the hex forcing survivors to have to cleanse the portal first then he always has 100% eyes if your there so he can interrupt and finally were oblivious so we can't even tell he's coming how is that even fair!!!???

That's when you focus on gens and nothing else, especially if you know Devour is in play. If you have friends playing with you, it becomes easier to get rid of the totem. Basically, one would have to cleanse the totem while another stands behind and body blocks.

I use a build on Demo where killer instinct will trigger automatically when survivors are near portal and the act of cleansing the portal is 40% slower. Can't focus on the portal in that situation. Have to attack the totem. If you don't have friends, then you can attack when they down someone and pick them up unless you're running Calm Spirit. You won't have enough time running that perk.

I'm solo Q the Demo merged the portal so it blocked the totem from being intractable and was forced to cleanse second the demo was downing and hooking before the Totem could be cleansed just a infinite cycle of bs

Without thrill of the hunt it's hardly a problem, and with thrill of the hunt just "do bones" so it loses effectiveness, and you don't even need to deal with totems because demo chase power is meh

Yeah, that build is fun to use. I use it quite a lot.

It was better with Skully, but RIP.

It's definetly not impossible to win against. SWF can manage.

It would definetly help, if hex perks would be so bad for most killers, so they would be used and survivors got used to actually searching for totems from start of the game. I remember when totem hunting perks were actually used during Ruin / NOED meta.

That's gone, because of nerfs and terrible totem spawns. So many survivors act like Pikachu, when they have to deal with Hex build.

It's not just as simple as doing gens. The killer patrols gens and will find you and instant down you.

And the more time you spend running around the map looking for totems, that is time you could have been healing your team, doing gens, unhooking… basically everything is lose lose.

Just because maybe a hardcore SWF team with 20,000 hours between all of them can sometimes deal with devour demo, that doesn't mean it's balanced in the slightest.

Even a swf can have a problem with this, Twins can do this too. People use that thing that lets charolette have no terror radius and ofc victor is giving her killer instinct to let her know someone is trying to cleanse the totem.

Idk why people think that swfs is always easier than solo que, maybe a little but that 3% slight better escape rate than solo que says alot. Those swfs too could be baby swfs who is still learning the game.
