If you're okay with it, please let us know which platform you play on and (if on PC) what the specs of your system are. This update shouldn't have an impact on performance, but we'd be happy to take a closer look.

A lot of rollback and my controller vibration no longer works. All this since the update, I'm on ps5

Same. I'm on Steam and matches are unusually laggy and there's a lot of rubber-banding happening.

Seconded. I'm on PS5 and lots of rubber banding, getting pulled back and juttering when running.

Happening on all platforms. Lots of stuttering/rubberbanding. RPD main hall stairs literally can't be walked up right now without getting stuck from the stuttering.

Yes, I have been lagging a lot
In one match I was lagging so much that I had to pretty much give up playing, my window vault was taking like 2 seconds to complete
but pretty sure my teammates didnt like it, probably reported me for "griefing" but there was nothing I could do

I vaulted the same window 3 times and I still didn't make it to the other side.😭

The game is running great on my Series X. The only issue is rubber banding but I guess that’s a server problem.

I also noticed that far auras of survivors and killer are running at like 15 fps, not that is a game breaking but still

Yes. I just posted a comment and I'm lagging very bad. Especially when trying to make Skill Checks when doing gens. If the skill check is not further out from the starting point, it's a guarenteed miss. I'm using Technician now (a perk I've never used until all of this lagging).

Same here.
It ran fine yesterday, then today all my shortcuts have been reset and it took me so long to get through the game start camera rotation that by time I could move, Huntress already had a survivor on her shoulders. Then I got DC'd one minute later. Next match was the same. And it's not just in-game either. Opening different tabs in the game was bad and it even lagged my browser. I even tried closing the game to check the forums, but I had to hard reset the computer because it was still stuttering hard.
Anyways, here are my specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2670 v3 @ 2.30GHz 2.00 GHz
RAM 16,00GB
Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP

I’m on PS5 and I don’t have vibrations either. I was wondering why the game felt SO wrong but I think that’s it. Otherwise it’s like I’m playing thru Remote Play, missing easy skill checks while the needle is at the appropriate place. Feels like lag but I have decent ping.

Rubber banding has been really bad today. I'm on Steam and I don't have any issues but my friend is on Xbox Series S and he has been rubber banding every game. I've seen other survivors and killers rubber band a lot after this update. It's pretty bad.

Me and 3 other of my friends are lagging. Some maps we cannot even leave bc of lag. Hawkins Lab is UNPLAYABLE (PC) My friends are all also PC.

So happy to see this thread. As a survivor I managed but it was so off. As a killer I could barely hit a person. I was ready to cry. Love playing this game and was worried they did something that forced me to upgrade my computer

Also I'm getting silents vaults, and hook prompts sometimes aren't showing up for me. PS4 btw. I'll try to get footage and post it need be.

Oh and my Neas arms keep tweaking out sometimes as well Peanits. I notice it sometimes when being unhooked and immediately being healed under the hook. looks funny and not game breaking but thought I'd bring it up while I'm here.

Experiencing it on PS5. Only played one game but it was unplayable. As soon as the killer got close to me I was rubber-banding all over the place

I just updated , and am lagging bad i checked my internet speed and its fast . the matches are currently unplayable. im on pc/xbox

My game (PC) lags hard during the 'initializing shaders' phase when booting the game. Granted, my rig is 10 years old but at most I got a mild stutter. Now, I prepare myself for a crash. I also believe that phase is mildly longer than before.

Vaulting as killer leads to what I can only describe as rubberbanding (you propably know what im talking about).
Im on a completely new PC that I just built in January.

I am getting the same exact lag every game, happens sometimes 3 or 4 times a game here is an example of it as well. I am on pc.

Same for me and that phase alone took maybe 2 minutes to complete, I expected it to crash.

Same. The frame drop is severe. This was not an issue before the patch today. I'm on Steam.

Well, technically they did. I was.. and still am forced to upgrade my drivers. But my graphics card is so old that I phsically cannot install a better driver version. So technically they force me to buy a new graphics card, or new computer.. even though my game was working quite fine before the engine update.

Steam - heavy rubberbanding after the update. Have already tried changing settings, verifying files, checking graphics card, playing the game for a few hours to see if it would go away after time, etc

Same happens for me, when hitting initializing shaders the CPU spike to 100% lagging everything, then it goes back to normal, had no issues with this previous patch

ever since the update, there has been atleast 5 stuttering issues in each of my games whether it be survivor or killer

I've had this issue as well. It seems like a server-side issue to me.
System specs below.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
Memory: 32 GB
Game drive: Samsung SSD 860 Evo 1TB
Internet connection: 1000/1000 Mbps - Hard-wired.Game was playing smooth and fine before Patch 7.7.0
No doubt there is a server-side issue, as the game stutters for about half to one second at a time. It feels just as if you are playing on an unstable wireless internet connection.0 -
It is not uncommon for a game to give the illusion that one of the survivors is using a lag switch. Why are you trying to fix bugs and glitches that result in other things growing out of them? This is not the time to add a new skin for Huntress.

Just played the first match of updated twins and im getting rubber banding, but no network indicators. FPS seems fine. This is really bad. Not the first time this issue has come up either.
edit : just played a second match as doctor. Rubber banding is even worse, i can't chase survivors like this, especially when it doesn't look like they are rubber banding. I'm not playing til this is fixed, im very disappointed.I am on PC steam
