Survivor balance is fine for the most part. I'd love a round of improvements to make survivor feel better to play. Certain aspects of survivor feel really clunky.

I wouldn't really go for overall survivor buff, but rather soloQ focused buffs. Basically implement things to help soloQ without affecting SWF much.
I would definetly start with showing other survivor builds, but there are other features that could work too.

A strategy that got rise cause of comp players is sure a noobstomper. (though i dont even care for people playing by their own rules) But those arent noobstompers. those are serious gameflaws that are handholding to bad killers to give them some nice times.

Completely agree, with how strong killers are getting and how consistently worse maps are getting for survivors of course survivors going to go down far more easily.
as Someone who plays both sides enjoyment on survivor side is so lack luster the only fun recent thing has been added to the game for survivor has been “champion of light” but that’s about it everything as of late has been nothing but killer buffs and survivor nerfs and for god sakes their even nerfing adrenaline which has been balanced for 8 years and is now suddenly a issue.
Like it’s not even funny majority of survivors tools have been completely gutted and majority of perks are laughably bad. Not even asking for killer or map changes just buff survivors tools and perks as well there’s so many perks and items/add ons that are just bad and having them be useable and have a good niche that someone would want to use would make survivor enjoyable. Like imagine if maps had a longer duration and had an add on to track pallets and windows acting like a budget WoO and maybe had an add on pass to make it more usable and user friendly. Keys not being just a glorified aura reading tool, and actually worked like KEYS they could instantly open chests and maybe could rework breakable walls to act like doors that keys could open Just food for thought. If firecrackers weren’t just a 1 time use item and actually had charges and was a bloodweb item that stayed there consistently would be a nice change of pace for items. I only included items too there’s a ALOT of perks that could use buffs and just need slight tweaks to make them worth using and actually give value. I’m not saying everything on the survivor side needs buffs only the weak and incredibly niche items and perks need buffs for survivors.

you can’t add anything without it affecting SWF if anything SWF only advantage is communication and majority of SWF aren’t seal team 6 so player skill is still determined by you and such and SWF can still make mistakes and the truth is most of survivors tools are incredibly weak
Any buff to any of the numerous weak tools that survivors have would be good, and even add some communication tools for players such as a message wheel or ping system that can be in place to communicate with you’re teammates without adding a mic system which would probably just be easier.

I went on for a bit but I’ll gladly explain but perks I think need buffs:
Flashbang
empathic connection
Better then new
Rookie spirit
Bite the bullet
All of the boon perks
no mither
we’re gonna live forever
quick gambit
this is not happening
technician
blood rush
collective stealth
Leader
better together
Weaving spiders: invocation
etc I can go on and on about other perks and their little quirks that hold certain perks back but these are just a few that I can name that could use a buff or even just a simple QoL buff
As for items the only items that need buffs imo are Maps, Keys, and firecrackers I’ve explained them in my post.
As for the gutted perks: scanvenger was gutted on release due to the amount of people who outraged it to be nerfed before it was released, MFT was deceptively strong but nothing broken that everyone in the past argued about it pulling bigger numbers out of their butts to make the perk sound worse then it really was but nerfed to be situational, prove thyself not really gutted but definitely didn’t need a nerf, Spine chill nerfed to the point it’s honestly useless except only good against stealth killers, and finally Adrenaline there was never a point to nerf it, it has stood the test of time and lasted unchanged for close to 8 years straight and now is going to just be a weak endgame perk if the ptb change goes through.

comp players are literally not the ones who pushed this strategy in pubs.
And strategies people mainly choose to DC, hook suicide or just simply not learn to counterplay when playing against are NOT gameflaws, it's all about mentality of an average survivor player

Instead of making survivors unable to self unhook they should increase the % for self unhooks.

Agree the maps are getting worse and worse with each update for survivors. This is one of my major thing I dislike about the game. I liked Borgo before the rework and it was fair. Now it‘s the most killer sided map. Same for garden of joy and coldwind maps.
Behaviors balancing team is really bad. They never try to balance good perks. All they do is gutting strong ones and taking years for a minor buff and what annoys me the most they rarely introduce good new stronger perks. I prefer a strong vs strong balance over a weak vs weak balance. It‘s just not fun, there is literally no strong and fun perk in this game anymore.
Survivor items are in big need of buffs and addon changes. I would just revert the medkit nerfs. Medkits are so laughable. All are the same and the addons suck. Flash lights are also very bad, you can only blind the killer if he‘s in a animation. They should blind faster and we need light burn back. Keys more aura addons and a base effect. Giving the green map the effects of the iri map. Toolboxes need more charges. Firecrackers having more charges would be cool. I would really like to get a item/luck/cheats update.

You could just write look at the survivor perks, because all were gutted since their release or got gutted later. There aren‘t really strong ones left.

Tournaments made tunneling more prominent, thats undeniable. Mentality doesnt counter tunneling, but i guess i can retell all the arguments given over the past years and you still defend it with no reason. Killer strategies are gameflaws. There is no logic behind strtegies that makes fundamentaly trvial to play.

That is true. I was referring to a more general mindset of comp players being way better at DBD, than average public players, which is true for some people and absolutely wrong for others.

Look, I still think soloQ is bad and some killers need tweaks, but I'm not going to pretend BHVR hasn't been trying to help survivor side.
- BT basekit
- Anti-Facecamp
- HUD information
- Flashlight save window increase
- Hook grab removal
- Anti-3 Gen measures
- Visual Heartbeat (I use this for lullabies myself because hey, if I can't use Sadako stealth because of it why shouldn't I also run it on survivor too?)
These have helped massively in my own survivor matches and I escape roughly 40% of the time, as a BAD survivor player who doesn't know every loop. BHVR isn't perfect but I'll give them credit for trying. And heck, killer has gotten some nice QoL to feel less sluggish like the increase in animations and FoV slider.
Does survivor need a little more? I think so. Tunneling and slugging can still be extremely problematic in some scenarios (tunneling being less so for me because I can understand some scenarios it's required for pressure) but survivor buffs don't need to come with kneecapping killers since this IS a 1v4 game. I almost dropped DBD when I first started as Sadako released because killer didn't feel like a decent threat. Now, they kinda do feel like a proper threat these days.

Holy ######### those buffs are so overkill. And on top of that you want maps to become more survivor sided again?
Killers would never do anything else but tunnel and camp like crazy anymore. Provided you'd even have killers to face off against.

I would be fine with the 60% kill rate if it was actually 60% and most games were ending in 2k/3k. In reality though the kill rate is closer to 70% since they didn't include games with a dc, and most games are ending in a boring stomp where the survivors stood no chance and it's either a 4k or 3k with hatch.

Say that again when you faced strong survivors after strong survivors who pop out gens faster than you can down them.
Your statement is true for the low bracket though. But you can't balance for everything.

True. I have been playing since 09/2018 and back then you were facing UB, old DH, old old DS and BT basically every match. Later you had a lot of IW because of Spirit and sometimes the annoying OoO user who made Trapper and Hag impossible to play. And Sabo was also different back then (hooks could be 99ed).
You could not pick up the obsession at all and everyone else could also DS you at 30% wiggle without warning. So one Sabo or bodyblock and they were gone.
No Undying, totems were horrible, totally in the open. Infinites were a thing (i.e. Ironworks main window had no opening next to it) and BL could be abused on Haddonfield. Ever thought Eyerie of Crows was bad? That was worse.
I get why people are complaining about soloq being bad, which is true. It's worse than back in the day too, but survivor is fine.

Try to get at least 2 kills without tunneling from the start and without any slowdown consistently and then we talk again.

Nurse is an outlier and you know that. If we measure everything with Nurse in mind, then every killer besides Blight and maybe Huntress, Spirit and Wesker would be garbage.
Use an average killer like Demo, Deathslinger or Nemy and tell me your outcome.

First off, hilarious that your admitting I'm right and that it is a problem but you are now backpedaling and moving the goal post to say I have to pick weaker killers. Second, just got a 4K with trapper, the second weakest killer in the game. Anything else needed?

Survivors are fine, but I do think some perks needs a:
1 - rework (useless ones, because others perks do the same thing, but better) and making they even have a synergy with others perks
2 - Buff (because the survivor gain nothing using him, just a waste of a perk slot)
3 - nerf (nerfing overpowered perks to have o larger build variety)

I'm not gonna go into a long discussion, check Nightlight killer stats for a more detailed view of the relation between kill rate and win rate (3k and 4k), you will see the difference is much smaller than the often parroted 20%.
