You're nerfing Chucky's antiloop and Wesker's tunneling but not ...
Artist's antiloop and Pyramid Head's tunneling ? Unlike Chucky Artist is a 115% speed killer who can pressure survivors from the other side of the map, the fact that she's able to shut down every loop with her power is insane, especially when 110% speed killers such as Huntress, Deathslinger and probably the new version of Chucky won't be able to do it. "Just hold W against her" - that shouldn't be the only counterplay to a killer's power, it's incredibly unhealthy game design, even more so than what Chucky was.
And if you're gonna nerf Wesker's tunneling then you can't let the OG tunneling killer as it is, especially when he also has a zoning central antiloop power on top of it (granted still not as aggravating as Artist's antiloop power).

I think there are a lot of good things in the Dev Update and the Nerfs and Buffs to Killers are all good without really making them too strong or too weak. So complaining about "What about…" or "You nerfed X, but not Y" is not the right thing to do IMO.
Even tho I would agree on both, especially Pyramid Heads tunneling potential.

Artist's antiloop already has counterplay to it and her antiloop isn't even the strongest part of her power.
PH's entire thing is cages which bypass defenses however the only way to send survivors to cages is if they get tormented which they need to run through the trails to do. Survivors can opt to not run into trails to prevent PH from getting his cages.

He gains the ability to instantly down out of a cage and bypass base BT + all anti-tunnel perks. That’s a pretty big deal and not something that should be promoted by any specific killer power.
Fwiw, if it gets changed I’m all for giving him better addons and giving him a range addon basekit in exchange (the strongest one), he kinda needs it.

Agree 100%.
Artist's best asset is her map presence, as she can annoy a survivor on a gen from the other side of a map even mid chase. Although her antiloop can be unfair at times. I wouldn't be against bringing back the lightburn on crows.
And for PH, his Torment does absolutely nothing, except maybe making tunneling a wee bit easier + the fast mori. That's it.

adjust the cage spawnsRemove the noise notification when a survivor is uncaged
rework the cage anti camp
Incentivize not going for the cages

I always find kinda interesting that people hate Knight while Artist does the same as him at loops but much better.
Knight: Go into a loop - use power - survivor goes into next loop as soon as he sees you using it - you have no power in next loop
Artist: Go into a loop - use power - survivor goes into next loop as soon as he sees you using it - use power again in next loop
In both of them if you stay on the loop you get hit by the power anyways.

It's probably cause of her low pick rate, if people went against her more often I believe there would definitely be more complaints towards her. If Skull Merchant was as rare to face as Artist people wouldn't probably complain that much about her either.

you can outplay artist power, unlike knight. Both drop power and force you to leave but knight forces you to run in one direction since the guard will kill you if you guard while disabling looping for the hunt duration. Artist gets hits only if she predicts your movements etc.

It is not always possible to avoid that and in some situations it is either that or go down earlier... When you already did that on first you don't know yet how hard he will tunnel you.

Not necessarily, you can just place it on the pallet and force you to move away... It is basically exactly the same, no prediction needed for this basic playstyle, it is just that artist is not limited to doing that.

What do you mean? It just means that perks on both sides including basekit mechanics are going to work on cage.
It would be buff for a survivor, but PH would also get access to several perks, which are not optimal right now. Not really that big deal with pop nerf tho…0 -
thats the counterplay, its not fun but it is effective. plus her power is very easy to outplay at range, so a match with good survivors against a good artist boils down to holding W and predicting pathing.

Having cages working like hooks will just ruin what’s unique about his kit and it won’t compensate having hook related perks work on the cages because all of that just destroys the fun of playing this killer

ignoring unhook base perks and not resetting exhaustion isn't "nothing" It should be a completely safe fast hook (that applies hook perks for the killer too) but you have no control on where the cage goes instead of a cheese tool

So what's making him unique is being able to ignore hook related perks and therfore being better at tunneling? Even if that was what makes him unique that would be horrible... What makes him unique is that he is annoying to go against, that sounds like great design... I'd rather say his antiloop makes him unique because it his people through walls and can be flicked, but each to their own I guess.

At least I won’t be slugging off cages cause some survivor just ran up to the cages mid chase and uncaged in my face
And I think the best compensation for that as well is to make the cages spawn away from exit gates at EG so you aren’t getting punished for using your power
