Thoughts on disabling slow down perks once a survivor is dead?
I don’t remember who suggested this idea but what is everyone’s opinion on this?

It’s a bad idea. what if a survivor dies with one Gen left? 3 survivors getting that last Gen done is very possible even when the killer still has slowdown.

I don't understand the point, it'll just lead to people not using slowdown perks and instead going for extreme camping/downing strategy, probably even slugging too, it won't achieve what it meant to do

A) it won't matter. The best slowdown is getting someone out of the game anyway, so it will likely not affect the outcome of the match.
B) Given that they added this exact mechanic to Ruin, and then later removed it completely, tells me the devs have no interest in doing this across the board.

There are too much factors in it to be able to implement.
The factors would be like:
- Killer Skill
- Survivor Skill
- Swf or solo que
- the number of meta slowdown perks
- the perks of the survivors meta or casual
- Map size
- Map rng
- Killer strengh
- Is he tunneling or not
- The strengh of the Killer addons
- The items of the survivors
- The addons of the survivors
- elo
- Gens remaining
- etc
All of these have to be considert and its not easy, because they play each other out sometimes. I would say in some scenarios it would be plesend to disable them, BUT the same could you say about the survivor perks. For example if you say four slowdowns on a S Tier Killer is unfair, I would say four survivors with four second chance perks is also unfair right. I play both sides like 40/60 and I can tell you in both scenarios, if you dont bring these two against each other you most likely get destroyed and even that you cant tell is always the case. Both can be defeted, when they dont have skill outside of the perks and yes you defenently can defeat the other side just by your loadout survivors more then Killer I would say. (More doesnt means Killers cant do that) Two examples where on side won cause of Laodout. (Im in both the Killer, because I dont use any meta perks or Items as survivor. )
Killer (Me) Wins by Loadout. I have a sweat build while the survivors are more casual.
The Survivors out Loadout Me
So as a conclusion. No I woulnt remove the slowdown Perks when someone dies. If you would do that, than they also have to remove Perks on the survivor side and just because of this the system wouldnt make any scence. Yes four slowdowns can be hard, but against something like on the second picture they would be nessasary.
P.S. Please dont tell me you can counter the builds by not tunneling. Ive tryed, but they force the tunnel and disable me, so I cant do somting else.

Nope, since currently there is sort of a cut off in matches where if a survivor dies before a certain point lets just say ~2 gens left the killer can snowball hard enough where survivors don't really stand a chance and it confirms a win, every thing past that leads to a few escapes and anything before that is just gravy.
Taking away slowdown perks kind of kills this balance where if a killer plays well or gets a weak link out of the match then they get punished.
Now I could be tempted to split the difference and say they get disabled IF you haven't hooked any other survivors so a solo tunnel or proxy camp out of the match straight from the start and playstyles like bleeding out, condemn, lucky head pops see a bit of a nerf by giving the other 3 survivors most likely an easy escape but with any amount of spread pressure shutting off perks is overkill and is just a huge survivor buff

It still baffles me mobile has all these cool features the main game doesn't even have. Being able to see your teammates perks before the match starts is so big? And also this match history system with all these stats. Wow.
