How do we feel about art the clown as a killer
I know we won't be able get him for a while due to behavior not wanting too much gore but maybe one day we will get him. I was wondering what you guys would think about him and who should his survivor be (most charecters are just murder meat for art) and what map should he get?

A lot of us have been saying this for a looooong time before T2 was released.
I've been a fan since watching the original All Hallows Eve in 2014 or so, and I was stoked when the first Terrifier came out. Terrifier 2… I was in the front row at Thursday night previews.
It probably wasn't possible even a couple of years ago since Art was still considered a B-movie killer on the same level as Babyface, Chromeskull, Leslie Vernon, etc., but he's a worldwide phenomenon now, and IIRC the filmmakers have expressed interest in a DBD collab.
My guess would be that it's already being worked on behind the scenes. Remember, these chapters get worked on up to two years in advance, so BHVR's already got a backlog, but it sounds like everyone's open to it, so I'm sure there's already been a conversation between the rightsholders and BHVR, at the very least.
It probably won't have NC-17 levels of gore the way the films do, but they'll give him a suitably gruesome mori within whatever boundaries they're setting for themselves. Seems to be relaxed more nowadays, anyway. Chucky's DLC has a LOT more profanity than they've ever previously allowed, and The Unknown's mori might be the most violent of any killer mori so far.

Do you really feel like unknowns is the most violent? I feel like hag that eats your organs (even tho it looks a bit cheap compared to newer moris), singularity that lets your face explode and vecna that rips the flesh off of your entire body are much more violent xD

yea. Unknown just is gross. But yea we could use some of the early ones. I only got 40 minutes in. So unless there are more 1 one 1 kills. Maybe something where he stabs the survivor in the leg and chokes ‘em like in the car lot scene. Cause we won’t get something like the upside down saw.

I thought all hallows Eve was a stellar no budget horror movie but I really don't care for terrifier. Maybe have art as a skin or something.

Big challenge for Art I'd say is where do you go with his power?
He doesn't really have one, Art is kinda lacking something that makes him stand out. Someone like Ghost Face doesn't really have a unique thing either, but he at least found a place in DBD via being the stealthiest killer in the game.
Its getting a little hard at this point to come up with something new that doesn't make Art a carbon copy of someone else... wouldn't be against him coming to DBD, but ideas are starting to get a little thin on the ground 🤔

Did you see Terrifier 2? The first Terrifier was good, IMO, but the second is a masterpiece.
I agree that All Hallows Eve is underrated, and I think I might have enjoyed it (or parts of it) more than Terrifier. I think Terrifier was more consistent overall just because the second segment in All Hallows Eve was garbage and the first was good, if a little incoherent (the third and the wraparound just make the entire film).
I think Art deserves his own spot on the roster, but maybe could have All Hallows Eve Art as a skin.
What do you mean? He's a demon with supernatural powers. He's got a much wider palette to paint with than someone like Ghostface.
DBD will be here forever. I firmly believe that. They'll keep adding new characters, and the only way it'll ever shut down is if someone in upper management decides to can the project, which isn't going to happen because it'll always be making money.
So that's a problem that's just going to have to be addressed. There'll come a time when every new killer will probably parallel another in some fashion or another, but there'll be infinite variations of how they all work.

Terrifier 2 was good.
Also a miracle it was uncut here in Germany.
Maybe if the third one is also good he may becaome more popular in the future. Most of our killer icons started with some low budget movies.
Design of Art is really cool - powerwise i also don´t know. He is just kind of a slasher.
He could easily have some Meme perks like his silly sneaking or mime poses…

The second one is better? That's rare. I'll give it a shot, this seems like a good take. I do think the diner scene in the first one is honestly iconic horror. It's really good.

His bag. Art have his bag full of gross and sharp things. His power should be in his bag, getting a random weapon with different powers and use.
