Gen Rush Skillcheck based build
- Activate Invocation first to make all gens -10%.
- Then since you are now injured forever, this activates +10% extra skillcheck chance with just small negative effect of having skillchecks bit harder but not a big deal.
- Now you probably allready have few stacks of Stake Out and you will continue earning them for the whole match for extra benefit whenever you hit a skillchecks.
- Activate bard perk to get extra bonus for all skillchecks.
- Enjoy doing gens fast!

It's not a joke perk anymore. It's pretty decent honestly.

No one can convince me a No mither survivor goes afk for 1 minute to make the Gen goes back to pre 6.1.0 a "decent play".
Assume you're being chased with only 1 teammate on Gen
- if you as a survivor have running skill so low that extra 3 health states can not buy 50 seconds of Gen, you should not use Invocation to begin with.
- if you as a survivor have running skill so great that extra 3 health states can buy 3 minutes of Gen, why would you trade 3min of chase for 50sec of Gen?

like it, its fun
and that's exactly the problem. Some players take the game too seriously. Just have fun....

It looks 'possible' i guess, but the problem i see with this build is the amount of setup you need to begin repairing a single gen. Starts the game and...
You waste time looking for the basement
You waste 60sec doing the invocation
You waste time searching for a gen that has at least one other teammate.
Roll the dice and waste 15 sec doing bard perk.
And then, you fiiinally can start repairing the first gen. And this is considering an ideal match where nothing goes wrong.

-10% of a gen is still more than 80 seconds, the amount of TOTAL charges gens used to have for the most of the game's history. So by using the invocation, you are just wasting time AFK and picking No Mither not even returning the gens to the fair 80 seconds. It's a fool's trap. Like the rest of so called "genrush builds": all genrush builds have been nerfed to the ground long time ago, the only gen rush you can achieve now is by bringing toolboxes and playing on comms in 4man, to spend time as efficiently as possible, and you have to hope the killer doesn't tunnel too.

It's a fun build, especially if you like living on the edge (I did this for a few games, but replaced Stake Out with Fogwise for some safety). If you do want to be really efficient on gens though, I would highly recommend replacing Invocation with Hyperfocus, especially if you want to run Stake Out.
Hyperfocus bonus progression multiplier stacks with Stake Out's +1% bonus progression when you have at least one stack of it. So that means instead of getting 1/1.3/1.6/1.9/2.2/2.5/2.8% bonus progression per great skill check, you'll get double that at 2/2.6/3.2/3.8/4.4/5/5.6% bonus progression per great skill check depending on the # of your Hyperfocus stacks.
If you're good at hitting great skill checks, it's not uncommon to get ~10 skill checks per solo generator thanks to Hyperfocus, which is 43.4% or ~39s of a solo gen with just Hyperfocus + Stakeout alone. Deadline can be trickier to activate and even harder to make this whole work build, but add both that and Bardic to the mix and you could easily shave off another ~10s per gen for a total of ~50s off each solo gen.
The consistency of this strategy depends on your ability to hit Great skill checks, but if you can do it well, you're basically casting invocation on every solo gen, but in a way where all of your progress goes into that one generator. You also don't become broken as a result, nor have to risk being in the basement.

all genrush builds have been nerfed to the ground long time ago
Hyperfocus has different opinion in this topic. Solo gen in 37 seconds seem valid to me...
I love how you try to make it big like "the game is worst for gens in history of man kind".
While reality is just completely different :D

that sound like a terrible build honestly. B

Okay, no let's not kid ourselves here. It's not good and is still very much a joke perk it's just not so bad it's a killer perk anymore.

you waste, you waste, you waste…..ok
seriously. Everyone who plays a computer game is wasting their time. But that's another topic.
It's just a different way of playing. Something other than just the standard stuff

I am ponting out that for a 'Gen Rush' build, which usually focus in Time efficiency on gens, this build has a considerable amount of time wasted on Set up and a dozen things that can go wrong that can extend it even more.

You are better off trading out Invocation: Weaving Spiders for a Toolbox with Built To Last (Best Burst Progression), Prove Thyself (pairs with Bardic Inspiration), or Resilience (pairs with Deadline).
The Progression from Weaving Spiders it not bad but being Broken the entire match is such a horrible downside to the perk that makes it not worth running; for a Gen-Rushing build, it will just likely result in you being tunneled since you cant be healed, your perks are meaningless in chase, and you have no anti-tunnel.

If you're gonna run Weaving Spiders you should ALWAYS run Resilience. You're gonna be perma-injured anyway.

I politely disagree

Each to their own, but I would go with this instead

It’s okay. We don’t want high mmr brain to infect everyone again.
Look, to balance it out I will run Lightborn with Shadowborn okay?1 -
The biggest problem is how common corrupt intervention and grime embrace are, its easy to completely lose that -10% gain to all the gens been locked, specially at the beginning of the match.

i can sleep peacefully now.

i tried a build with self-care/barbic inspiration/deadline/stake out. the idea was to 99% my heal with self-care(removing drawback of deadline) then use Stake out+Barbic Inspiration to boost skill-checks of Deadline. It is an ok gen jocky build.
In the end, i think that streetwise+build to last in SWF with toolboxes is the way to go. Prove thyself and Barbic inspiration are good support perks to boost toolboxes and that really as far as it goes.

ReSilence and or Iron Will/No Mither tbh, being broke the whole match makes you too easy against some killers like Blight I find you 100% need the noise suppression from IW just so you can be in some proximity to the killer without instantly exploding
