The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

Event buffs are more killer side than survivor side

Remote hooks just deny many survivor perks, you can't take protection hits, sabo, use DS, flashlight saves, pallet saves, they just can hard tunnel.

They can break pallets at distance and then use their power, survivors can create pallets, yes, but is easy to avoid it as killer by just moving backwards or just apply the endurance effect.

Constant aura reading and exposing effects.

No wonder why there's a 150% BP on survivor, nobody wants to play this if many things are on killer's favor.

If the Killer sweats on a fun mode I will call it out. This is for fun and most of the event is built on it.

The remote hook is the dumbest thing they ever added to the game. Second dumbest is the quiet mode they gave survivors. Those things are both so broken and both powers discourage killer/survivor interaction. ZZzzzzz.. Can't wait for July 5th.

And what exactly is so wrong about a power in a limited event mode that denies saves or sabotages? I don't see why counterplay to something is an issue. I will admit it's strong, but what's the problem with having a strong power during a limited mode especially when genrushing is the go to tactic for Survivors in these events? I don't get it. Why isn't the Killer allowed to counterplay stuff but Survivor is, outright deleting things like down pressures, hook pressure, even chase pressure against M1s?

Survivors have Quiet Mode which is actually pretty strong, the fragile pallets are back and can create some stupid pallet setups, and you can still block vaults which can waste even more Killer time if you're a decent Looper. Survivors have plenty.

The other two Killer powers aren't overpowered and serve to counter the rest of the pallets like before, as well as help in chase. Would you really rather have the instant Exposed mid chase from last year back? I wouldn't. I would rather a perk that discourages tunneling and camping or leaving someone slugged to bleed out than just free Exposed on demand that can negate any chase pressure you do. Remote Hooking ONLY can activate after you already lost the chase.

I agree though. The power is OP. It's too much and needs toning down DRASTICALLY if it comes back in any capacity.

Are you seriously saying heal and exposed is killer sided

You'll get back from slugs, hit and run style will die 100%, and you can even get free heal if you managed to chase for 30 seconds

I would say both are just as bad. Instant hooks break a lot of Survivors only ways to stay alive. The steath is weak compared to that BS. Worst part Killers are sweating a mode that is fun.

Not only do the remote hooks break most ways for Survivors to stay alive, but it makes genrushing even more necessary.

    use DS

I have got stunned with DS... Maybe it depends on where skill checks spawns?

What do you mean you can't use DS? DS activates when you get picked up, I always have it on my build and so far I've been using it every time it activated in my Event matches

This event is a joke for SoloQ survivors, im left with 10k points while killers get well over 80k.

Guess ill not bring anymore cobblers and only care for the community archive while bringing meme perks as coping mechanism

You know you're still getting more bloodpoints with a cobblers than without, right?

Looping doesn't accomplish the objective, though. Even if you loop the Killer all day long, it won't mean a thing if gens aren't being done.

You wont also get the invitations or the other stuff done (to get the big BP). Many Killers dont even do the invitations stuff just play to 4K asap.

I find the game first started out built to be in the killers favour so that he can kill 4 other players in 1 round that are against them unless they manage to be stealthy enough and work at the generators. At some point survivors found the most broken things to avoid dieing and win everytime to a point where both sides had to get stronger over the years in order for survivors to have a chance but still be in killers favour, and now its gotten to a point where if the survivors arent winning or have overpowered stuff they say the game is bad and its in the killers favour as a bad thing, and the killers then see the swf meta sweat teams because they win so much against randoms that they say the survivors are overpowered and they cant catch anybody in time so it goes back into a big circle of madness where the game is never going to be played the way it was originally balanced to begin with. The killer is supposed to be stronger. Its a question of if its too strong to a poont where survivors dont have a chance to win even with skill or not. Ive found blocking a window behind you to be very strong as well as party pallets keeping killers more cautious on alredy used loops. The only thing auto breaking pallets does is nothing different than a knight sending a guard to 1 shot the pallet while still chasing you or enduring a pallet stun is the same as the perk. Even the healed and exposed event makes everyone healed and if he cant hit someone before the timer goes everyone gets to keep their new healthstates efc. It all seems pretty balanced to me and the killer should ave advantage to be able to chase down 4 people that all have extra abilities now

This isnt a swf vs pro-killer reg game the event encourages doing other things making a pro-killer job to easy to begin compounded by the abilities they get.
