News about the cheaters getting innocent people banned & trickster epsilepsy issiue?

Trying to figure out if its worth playing this game in the upcoming 2v8 event.

I dont want to risk my account just because cheaters can fake ID's and stream themselves as others while cheating.

And i also cant support a company that doesnt look out for their players health, even though i dont have epsilepsy myself, i wont spend any money out of solidarity until they fixed it.

Cheaters cannot get innocent people banned. A person was banned through user error and that has all been reversed and sorted out - has absolutely nothing to do with a cheater.

The Trickster is currently disabled, due to a very small number of reports of flashing lights issue - he should return to the fog when the next Update goes live.

It hasnt been one error it has been multiple people who got faked by cheaters, same for the "small number of reports" on the trickster issiue.. there was a whole youtubers community filing tickets and the person isnt even that big of a streamer to beginn with. But it was just a minor handfull of people filing tickets??? Even though there are screenshots from at least 30 people filing tickets and thats just 1 community…

At least i know basicly nothing has changed from the way you devs handle these things. I bet it will take another 2 months until trickster is fixed, like it took that long to fix knight when he was killswitched. I was paying customer for 4 years and im highly disappointed.

Edit: After reading the response again "user error" so you blame the person that got banned? THEY did something wrong? what exactly?

I don't think she's blaming the person who got banned… "user error" in this case would be the support agent that did the incorrect ban.

Also the next update is in like 4 days. That's likely how long it'll take for Trickster to return.

    exactly!

And it is one person that has been banned this way, and the ban reversed. We don't discuss bans publicly but this one we fully acknowledged that a mistake was made on our end through user error (yes on our side). Please don't believe everything you see on social media.

With regards to Trickster reports, unfortunately we received reports of people reporting the original issue - not that they'd encountered it themselves. Which is why the number of reports is considered a small amount on our side, because the number of people who reported who'd had the issue was very small.

Screenshots are there, im not part of these communitys but i have filed tickets on my own before and the screenshots look very legitimate. Im a little bit confused why it makes a diffrence if its just a handfull of people or when it would be a big portion of the playerbase. Its still player health isnt it?

Also there are video proofs how cheaters themselves faked their HUD to look like big streamers, because the cheaters themselves make videos about this. Im not on any social media aside from youtube btw and the problem is that i cant logg in to see for myself if my account could be faked, because unlike big streamers i dont have a community to back me up, which appearantly is neccessary to even get a chance to attend banns. So im here for reasurrence and all im getting as an answer is that its basicly what.. A conspiracy by multiple diffrent youtube creators? Trying to make false statements against BHVR because… They are annoyed of x y reasons?

Like i cant see a world where long time DBD youtubers would profit from stating such things when they are not true.

I cannot go into details, but I'm telling you no - nobody is banned because their account was faked by a cheater!

This video alredy has 2 and more existing cases of false banns and this is just one of the videos made. Appearantly on Reddit there even exists a whole bunch of Threads where players talk about the issiue. Saying it has only been 1 case is very untrue.

Or we say the whole bunch of people just lie? is that the message? a movement that is there to make a false picture against BHVR?

So you can see why someone without any reach and followers would be worried, right? Especcially when im seeing untrue statements being made.

And i still would like to know where is the diffrence between a handfull of people with epsilepsy and if it were a whole chunk of the playerbase? Its about health, it should not matter that mutch.

As I said earlier, please do not listen to everything you hear on social media - that includes youtube. The player who was accidentally banned has been unbanned, we identified the error very early on and were working on rectifying it.

With the Trickster, it was definitely not something that affected the majority of the playerbase, not even a small portion. And with the initial one report that we had, that could well have been a graphical issue on the user side, which is why we can not remove something from the game for that reason - hence the social media request to players to contact our support team if they had been affected by the issue.

Look at the video and tell me it was only 1 player.

I wont waste any more of your time however, i think i have the answer i wanted even though im not happy about it.
