Do you enjoy going on long chases as an M1 killer with absolutely no power? Well, guess what! With the new knight rework you are able to do this TWICE simultaneously!

Seriously though, this rework is genuinely terrible imo, they completely removed the 'lethality' he had in his kit to be able to help him get hits and end chases faster. Not to mention they doubled his cooldown and made him worse from the PTB which actually felt nice to play. Now he's just two separate M1 killers with no chase power, worse than freddy and trapper, he has no mobility and is so frustrating and boring to play as. They essentially gave him the pre-rework singularity treatment with very tedious and inconvenient gameplay but as opposed to singularity, playing the reworked knight efficiently yields very little to no good results. The new knight is NOT strong at all even if you play him efficiently as you could have gained better results in an easier way by playing a killer such as wraith.

Not to mention that they have made the numerous pathing 'bugs' associated with the guards into official features making them even more useless at actually landing hits if the survivors are aware. Knight was already terrible against above-average players since they understood the counterplay was to hold W every chance you had and if you were about to get double tapped you force the guard to hit you to avoid going down. But now he is even worse due to him being reduced to a straight up M1 killer with ZERO chase power.

They could have removed the 'double-taps' in many other ways that would have still kept his identity of having a secondary killer be able to chase with you simultaneously instead of essentially removing that with the 3x decrease of hunt duration and the minimum patrol path length of 10m! For example, they could have kept knight as he was but add a hinder penalty to his guard of (10-15%) if they were in close proximity to each other, this would make it easier for a survivor to be able to avoid the guard and be able to outrun/out-manoeuvre even if both were chasing them.

I hope they do something to him because as it stands he is probably a low C tier killer now with the likes of clown, wraith, bubba, legion etc… being much better options due to the Knight's inability to do anything during chase except eat pallets and slowly catch up only to be hit with a lithe. Not to mention they made his counter-play even more boring as now you can potentially be chased by a guard for 36 SECONDS as opposed to 24 pre-rework.
