The new UI is still awful
as i stated in the title, this new ui may be a bit more polished and useable now but its still a nightmare, for starters they got rid of the arrows that let me shuffle through killers/survivors making it even more time consuming to find offerings that i need when i play, don't even get me started on the customization UI it is possibly the worst update bhvr released in a long time, its just the store ui but plastered onto the character selection screen but worse, prior to 8.1.0 you were able to see 14 cosmetic items at once and was in a 2 x 7 grid and showed you more cosmetics at once, and being able to click on the cosmetics you clearly want to select with a larger button is alot more better than the tiny buttons and overlapping charms menu? i dont mind the rest of the ui change as its cool that i can finally read the bios of the characters in the main menu again, but i honestly think cosmetics should be reverted back to the pre 8.1.0 update

Yes.
I think they realized that it is really bad.
I only hope they revert and change enough to make it right again. Sadly i have some doubts about that.

it almost the worst thing they done almost but I still want it reverted.

Well at least it isnt 3 columns anymore, so that's something the only 2 real issues i have with jt are the portraits since some of the portraits poke out at the top and bottom and the newest characters at the top and the Customization layout which really should've been reverted completely, but who knows maybe they'll revert it next update if and thats a big if we voice our distaste for it they'll revert it

pretty sure i saw on reddit that they had to release it as the old ui no longer worked/was able to be updated with the new platform, afaik they removed as much as they could but had to leave the original columns the same

we need to let bhvr know that this ui was a mistake (at least in terms of customization)

A shame, because I like it and it's clear much of the community disagrees with me.

dont get me wrong its decent only thing that really needs to be reverted here is the customization ui

See that's the bit I like.

Even if it is clunky. Get the customization and Previous and Next button back and it will be much better.
But i still liked the old one much more.
Right now it feels awkward overall for me. It feels like the outfits increased by a lot and all the exclamation marks you can´t get rid of and so on.
Sad :-(

well thats your opinion, but to me and many others its an absolute downgrade and should be reverted

I think my main complaint is the Charm UI is really bad… like really, really bad.
The "CHARMS" text covers the Search Bar so you literally cannot see what you are searching. Sometimes you accidentally click the Search Bar instead of the Charm Icon because of where it is located and you end up accidentally make a search.
Not only that but the UI is incredibly small and hard to see. I already have a hard time seeing things but now anything that has red and green on it just ends up looking like a brown blob that no matter how hard I look at it, I cannot tell what it is suppose to be. From an accessibility standpoint, the new Charm UI does not consider any form of colorblindness (or at least if feels this way). :(
I really wish BHVR would revert the UI or at least modernize the old UI in the new style to make it less clunky.

i think they should just revert the customization ui thats the only real problem here

Every time I have to interact with the new UI, I get really frustrated anfd irate. It's making me want to quit the game. That's how bad it is.

And that is of course, your opinion.

Seems like no changes are coming :-(
Very sad.
Still clunky and worse than the old UI.
Please bring Next and Previous buttons back to cycle!
