2v8
I dont know how to get hold of the team but
YALL NEED TO MAKE 2V8 A PERMANENT THING

permanently? Please don't do that. The Q times were a horror... I can do without them

This is really good news. Please make it permanent with a lot more variety for both killers and survivors because even with the limited selection now it's still so much more fun than 1v4. As a survivor I can't go back to 1v4 after 2v8.

Plz no

Please don't.

2v8, best mode
3 -
No, id rather have everyone play 4v1 for better and faster matchmaking. 2v8 can come back for another 2 weeks though

Please don't bring it back permanently, it causes too much divide and problems for the game as a whole as we saw during this first test. If what we just had becomes the norm many of us would straight up quit playing as we want to play killers and it was basically unplayable since 2v8 went live. The core of the game is 1v4 and it should remain that way. Just bring 2v8 back in a rotation with other modes and modifiers.

There are some topics where I wish you would do more than just lurking :/

Yes please! I love this mode so much!🤩🤩🤩

def needs to be permanent. only time i enjoy playing survivor
3 -
They most likely will.
Since in a way this would be the casual mode. Since everyone would have an equal chance. No leveling up to unlock perks. The main game requires to many hours for new players now. This mode could potentially allow actual casual players to not have to spend hundreds of hours unlocking perks.

I get that the queue times got bad, I know they did I saw it. But from MY point it view I rather wait some time to join a match I actually had fun in, rather than get a quick unfun, and or frustrating match. But thats my two cents.

Please don't make a hasty decision on permanent 2v8. DBD is my favorite game but I have given up on it ever since day 2 of the 2v8 launch. It's simply not worth the wait, and playing as survivor feels completely meaningless in such a large game lobby. It should paint a clear picture when so much of the community is vocal about only playing survivor in 2v8 because of the massive blood point multiplier.
If it goes permanent, I feel that the novelty will wear off for some after a while. If that happens we will have a population decrease AND a split community. I don't see how that wouldn't lead to an increased drastic effect on finding games.

They can fix Q times easily.

No offense, but the devs have nearly no influence on queue times in a mode after it's release. Their influence is limited to how fun the mode is and for who it's more fun. There is no easy way to just magically shorten queue times.
2v8 had disgusting queue times for Killers and non-existant queue times for Survivors despite needing 8 players (even in 1v4 the Killer queues were longer) because unless BHVR gave actual Iri Shards and double exp there is very little incentive to play Survivor, the gameplay remained largely the same but against 5 possible Killers instead of 30+ (although since Huntress is in 90% of games the variety is even lower than it should be) and no variety in the form of perks. In fact it's even simpler since there's no possibility of pallet/flashlight saves or Hex totems to give something else than gens to do.
Killer on the other hand brings something that's been asked for since year 1: the ability to play Killer with a friend which fundamentally changes the gameplay loop and removes much of the pressure that normally comes with playing Killer against half-decent Survivors.
Unless BHVR somehow makes playing Survivor either worth it through insane incentives or fun enough to warrant not playing the thing that's been requested for years then there's no real solution to queue times.

This is just not true, and queue times can be fixed. The game can have more than one game mode and still keep its 1v4.

They will put more incentives in for survivors and bump up blood points.
It’s not as hard as you think it is to fix queue times, not to mention a bit here or 2 won’t hurt to get lobbies moving faster.
It’s not a hard fix. They will work it all out. They’ve got a lot of smart and capable individuals despite what people say. BHVR deserves more credit than what’s given.0
