So, we got the post-PTB changes and...
No change to Moment of Glory? Are we still stuck with 2 chest searches and 60 seconds of Broken?
For me at least, the 1 minute thing seems really bad, the only time this will kick in is if the person is either a lot better than the killer, or if the killer leaves chase.
And the chest search part... seems out of place to me. I get it, we want to make chests more appealing to survivors, but this seems not like the right place. At least with Lara, it made sense to me lore-wise.
My suggested rework is this:
Moment of Glory
After being in a chase with the killer for a total of 45 seconds, this perk activates.
Once becoming injured by the killer, you become Broken for 30/25/20 seconds. After that, you get healed back to healthy.
This perk will not work if you are already Broken.
If you are put into the dying state while this perk is in effect, it deativates, but will reactivate once when you become injured again.
And if you want more survivors to open chests, make the items from them worth the effort.

It's probably one they want to be careful with. We might see changes when they revisit the chapter content in a balance pass?

I hope so. Along with Lara's perks, since both Trevor and Lara got the same treatment. Buffing the weakest perk a bit and leaving the rest be.
But yeah, I hope the perks get revisited in the future.

I would be fine if it only was 1 chest and 45s. Currently it can only activate once per match without using offerings.

I don’t like that they leave them bad and have to buff them later on, they should release them in a good state right away. lf they might be a bit too good, they can just give them a small nerf, but why do they always wait 6months to nerf something instead of adjusting them after a month with a reasonable change without gutting them

If they buff this perk too much it will be oppressive. if they nerf it too much it will be useless.
This is another Weaving Spiders issue.

That perk is only useful for those YouTubers that are good at looping and get paired with baby killers.
Having to use two chest just make having value like two times in the whole match unless you use another perk that makes you rum. Also, is obvious that the killer is gonna keep chasing you once they realize you are broken, they’ll know you’re gonna get healed if they leave you.
Btw, I didn’t test it, but does this perk work with vigil to make the broken status to end faster?

@Yoshirama I'm not sure.

It's probably the same deal as Second Wind where it'll shorten the Broken Status length but not decrease the time of the heal itself.

How often that happens?
There is so many dead perks, even from recent chapters...

The problem is that this perk is really difficult to balance because against some killers it won't do much but against others it will be really strong. There is also the problemwhy should you ever use this perk when you can bring a Syringe that is much easier to use and you can pop it whenever you want.
In my opinion, they need to rework Syringes first because it is so stupid that this Addon exists and a perk with so much requirement. Then, they can buff this Perk in a much easier way. Maybe into something like "after unhooking two survivors and then you become broken for 40sec and after that you get healed".
Thus, I wish they would rework chests and make them a better part of the game instead of a time waste. But this needs a bigger rework and much more work. I highly doubt they will do this because they haven't touched chests all this time.

I don't think it's as bad as people are saying, but it would've definitely been better with a 45 second timer instead of a 60 second timer. I'm hoping they keep an eye on it in the upcoming weeks/months and at least consider that buff.
Still, it's not like it's unusable in its current state. It's a perfectly adequate passive heal perk and has at least the potential for ballsy players to try and use it mid-chase, so it's got some use.
You definitely do not want to make its activation trigger just being in chase, though. That's just begging for an old Mettle of Man situation, it's much healthier with its current activation requirement. Easier to balance and more flexible to use from the survivor side.

It happens sometimes. That's why I said maybe, but it's nowhere near guaranteed.
I'm mainly just hoping.

No offence, but why your every perk change suggestion either weak to the point that it's hard to come up with the perk worse than this, or stupidly op to the point, where I don't even want to explain why?
45 seconds instead of 60 is all this perk needed to be fair and strong.2 -
Not every single one.
But yeah, sometimes I merge my own ideas with already existing stuff and the results are weird sometimes.

I also hope that a shorter timer will be considered, because with the current one you have to be leagues above the killers skill level to get the effect.

I will definitely be experimenting with Appraisal+Moment of glory+Dead hard with med-kit syringe. If i am successful in using moment of glory, the killer going to need hit me a grand total of 4 times. If only dead hard worked in first chase, I'd be able to tank 5 hits in just 1 chase.

Should be 1 chest and 45 seconds to heal tbh

Part of the reason I don't think the current state is completely unusable is because you don't have to be considerably better than the killer to benefit from ONE of this perk's use cases.
It's not just for getting an extra health state in chase, it's also a perfectly serviceable passive heal perk for anyone that wants to mess with chests instead of totems. Same time investment as Inner Strength, but it gives you items and synergises with any other chest perks you want to use.
