Draculas bat form

Hello all I have some ideas for changes on his bat form, I understand his bat form was already buffed since the PTB but I feel as though his bat form needs another buff, I feel as though his basekit teleportation range needs to be increased and also the basekit cool down to be decreased. I also feel like the bat should be able to see blood to make tracking an injured survivor a bit easier since you can’t see them and with iron will being at 100% it makes tracking them nearly impossible in bat form. So the teleportation isn’t great, the stealth isn’t great and his tracking isn’t great either. Maybe I’m asking for too much but I just love that we have a vampire killer, I LOVE VAMPIRES!

Haha I just assumed you hit post before you were ready lmao, @topic I think increasing the base teleportation range would be nice

Personally I am not certain if the Bat is strong enough to warrant survivors being invisible. You still need to shift to another form to attack, and survivors can vault back if you try following them through windows.

If it was purely a way to avoid survivors holding W from you, that would already be a strong power.

I actually agree with that too, when I heard there was a killer vampire coming I was hoping he would have something like AI bats around the map kinda like nemesis to be used for intel and they can also swarm/injure survivors as well, I like everything else about the killer though 😊

The last thing this killer needs is any buffs to his kit. If anything hellfire needs to have a minimal 20s cd and swapping between forms should actually slow you down. Right now you can just kind of laugh with all you have available to you. Can hold people at loops because honestly there is no counter to an 8s cd hellfire.

Definitely disagree with hellfire having a 20 second CD. And if swapping forms slowed him down, it would make him feel more clunky than he already is.

I agree he doesn't need any buffs, but he doesn't need any nerfs either.

Eh if legion has a power at 20s cd and is a fine killer then we should start standardizing things that are fair.

I get that you want to have fun with a little broken toy that was released but hellfire needs to have a cooldown. You can even bring an addons (sylph feather, ruby) that essentially just lets you spam it. Which shouldnt be a thing.

And thats without the rest of his kit, you can hug tech with wolf already, and traverse the map quickly.

The killer needs to have some form of downside because currently it just doesnt have one.

The downside is having 3 powers that other killers have but mediocre.

You would choose to play Pyramid Head because you enjoy Silent Hill. His primary ability allows his attacks to penetrate all walls and obstacles, while his secondary ability enables an instant hook that bypasses unhooking perks and provides a free mori when survivors are on their final hook.

On the other hand, you might pick Wraith for his straightforward gameplay. He remains quiet while in stealth mode, making it easier to see survivors and set up more effective ambushes.

Hug tech is clearly unintended and should be removed.

Hellfire is not mediocre though its insanely op. Its CD is hilariously low.

Why can I not even damage, but mend someone across a pallet or wall with legion on a 20s cd, and then this guy can just 7 second cd OR LESS spam m2 until he gets a hit? Hows that even close to fair?

    Its not.

Dog double pounce is not mediocre as well, you say hug tech is not intended. Well until that is fixed, its still broken.

Add to ontop of both of these powerful options you have map traversal, UP AND DOWN as well. Not something many killers can be happy to say they have.

Since we are referencing PH, the amount of times you actually get a blind hit around a corner or wall is pretty negligible verses the times you actually hit your judgement, because of HOW EASY judgement is to dodge. You load into a match and you just constantly hear the power and NOONE taking damage, its actually hilarious how easy it is to not get hit by.

Comparative to Draculas hellfire, its way quicker on its travel, it may not go through walls but it is harder to dodge than judgement is by a mile, its quicker on its trail can go through some gaps AND up and down slopes. PH judgement can only go down slopes and not breaks in slopes (like a drop off to a stair).

It even has an addon that can auto aim for you which some people say isnt working currently. And if it is then that should definetely be deleted.

So hellfire is actually better than judgement in nearly every way. The only thing PH has going for him is if someone steps IN torment and then you can bypass all the things you listed. So he has a conditional advantage,

Well when I say mediocre I mean it's a weaker version of Pyramid Head's power.

Punishment is not easy to dodge. Why do people keep saying that? Most of the time when I don't hit punishment it's because I missed, not because the survivor dodged it.

He's not even close to being as good as Pyramid Head. Dracula is okay, but not too strong at all.

Bat Form in chase is actually quite underrated imo, it has its niches, it requires practice and good reading on opponents to work though.

Still i think it could get some buffs, like especially the sound could get reduced and teleportation range increased a bit.

Another buff i could think of is to reduce bat forms cooldowns when within a few meters of a survivor to encourage using it in chase.

bat form did not receive any changes between PTB and Live. Only wolf form and hellfire received QOL tweaks. i agree bat needing improvements.

I figured bat form could change to something similar to dredges darkness where you only see people and object nearby and generators at a distance, itd be a bit more realistic with the echolocation and stuff and would help him use it to just find people instead of them just standing still while u fly past them not even knowing they were there. And in turn they could keep the bat sound effects as is for survivor perspective as an early warninv, but keep the killers perspectives of the sounds low so you can hear stuff better
