Seems to be the Masq Flash. Yellow and Green seem to be fine same map, same loadout.

My guess is it's not a bug? You're using an event item; it likely doesn't recognize a 'higher tier' for the item, and I think people would get mad if they lost event items in this way.

They are equivalent to green… I would think it goes to purple…

Actually… are you seriously saying this perk should basically be redundant during an event? Why can it not just add 25% if no upgrade?

During events not all items are event items even those found in chests. Still they are special items so it makes sense they are not included in items that perk effects. I would also imagine not many people will run the perk without bringing the item they want to upgrade with them anyway.

event is the highest rarity in the game, you cant go further than that
