I have played since Beta and remember the old days but I recall an item that was called sheet metal or something like that for survivor very early on that caused a noise notification at a location but checking the wiki In can't find anything. I recall it back when there was just the main 4 survivors and main killers. Part of the reason I call it is because I was bullied hard by it.

    As a fellow ancient alpha/beta player, I can confirm that no such item existed. Is it possible you were thinking of Saboteur? It would similarly make a loud noise notification and was pretty powerful at the time (leaving hooks permanently sabotaged). It's the closest thing I can think of that fits the description.

    The wiki doesn't really concern itself with anything that happened before the actual release of the game, probably it's difficult to research reliably.

    You were bullied by saboteur cause I remember playing trapper. Trapper was hard countered by his trap being destroyed by it. 😕
