The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

The game should not penalize when a player is disconnected from the game due to connection problems.

In my opinion, a good change would be that in case the player suffers a disconnection, the game does not penalize him for this because it is very frustrating to be penalized for almost an hour because of a bad internet, there will be some who say that the best thing is to get a better internet but there are many players who do not have the economic capacity for this, or since the game has a system of Bots that the player has the opportunity to return to the game and so the bot is replaced by the player.

It is impossible to tell the difference between someone having a legitimate connection issue and someone unplugging their pc or turning off their wifi. All this would do is give penalty free disconnects, which should never happen.

Well i don't do the lag switchs or whatever that is called i just have a not so good wi-fi conection and play on console, sometimes for some reason my console just get his connection off and then obviously the Game kicks me, i tried multiple ways to improve My wifi but is just not really good, why i keep queuing? Because i like the Game and i wanna play. Can't obvious or maybe you play dbd for other reasons?

Yeah, thats why i suggested to make that a player can re-join to their old Game for avoiding this issue or simply add a ranked and a casual mode and the casual Will doesnt have the penalty

We're not sure that rejoining would work as well as you think. Imagine joining when the bot is mid chase, that's always a fun can of worms.

Meanwhile separating the Qs this way is always a bad idea too us. Then there's the fact you are giving free reign to DC in "casual" mode means people WILL DC at the slightest inconvenience. This has been previously proven whenever the penalties are not on for whatever reason. It's not good.

The timers are far too harsh and punitive. They should never be more than one hour.

The first penalty is only 1 minute. The second penalty is 5 minutes. The third is 15 minutes. If you're reaching over an hour, you are simply d/cing too much to begin with.

The penalty is deliberately kept short for the initial ones, so that it doesn't penalise genuine players who've had to leave for a tech issue or a bug where they're stuck, or an irl emergency. They grow to give players who've either got a more problematic connnection or are rage quitting a lot, time to sort out that connection before ruining matches for other players again.

It takes quite a bit to reach an hour. If it's from rage quitting enough to get it that far, that player should be put on cooldown. If it's genuine connection issues then that needs to be sorted out as it harms the trials for everyone involved.

Irrespective of the reason, it's ridiculously harsh and then they reverse one stage at a time. I am not a DC'er, but I think it's a pathetic system. If it is rage quitting, it's usually other side behaviours and BHVR bears responsibility for that also. Plus there are bots, so it's an irrelevant and punitive measure.

I might see it as punitive if I was only thinking of myself when leaving an ongoing match for whatever reason. I see it as it affects everyone else too. But that's just me.

I've never seen the bots as anything near a reason to mess with the current DC penalties. The bots are meant to give the surv team some hope to continue the trial. And each and every time they have to turn off the penalties evil things happen. Every time.
