One thing that needs to be removed from the Skull Merchant.
One of the worst ways to play that most of those who play this killer is to throw a drone into every pallet or window that the survivor goes to.
Literally that's all she does.
While most other killers try to hit the survivor in one of their most skillful ways that impress some. She just throws a drone and runs in circles and gets a hit she didn't even deserve or didn't do anything from her side to get it.
"Well, you can leave the loop and go to another loop!" There's no point, she'll throw another drone and if she runs out she'll summon a drone and throw it at you.
Just throwing a drone at any loop and keeping throwing drones until she gets hit makes playing against her unfun, uninteresting and brainless.
Literally this is the third rework and this killer is still played exactly the same way since its release.
I fear this will not change in the fourth rework in 2025.

I mean she's going to be extremely useless after these changes, you probably won't see anyone playing skull merchant. She's a zoning killer with chase pressure. It's not super different than trapper or hag trapping a loop or something to counter it.

No matter how strong she is, most people who play this killer play it in a very boring way, as the chase is supposed to be the most fun part of the game.
Just throw the drone and this survivor can't do anything. What a great design.

She's not even going to be like Trapper or Hag anymore when the patch releases, because they're killing the trap playstyle stone-dead
Now she just plays like worse Clown

She is still a zoning killer but maybe the worst now. Still drops her drone to try to zone off an area but it's not really effective now.
That's the ability basically. You want people scanned/trapped and to shorten loops/zone off areas. It's not good i agree, but neither was the old playstyle off 3-4 genning with drone zones.
