In one breath, Distortion is claimed to promote avoiding the killer, not taking chase, etc because, 'they are terrible in chase and go down instantly.'
On the flip side, there's hate for Windows of Opportunity, which lets those terrible in chase players to… take chase a bit more efficiently.

Most people that i know that use distortion was a counter to lethal and info on what aura perk ran with it for the extended time.

Gen defense OP? Even after it got gutted? PR is the only thing worth running for regression imo. Blocking is better but still meh.

Object of Obsession is way better with way more benefits and little to no downsides for people who are good in chases

Yes but OOO is pay walled as distortion is Iri shards. So not every one can get OoO easily. And with 132 survivor perks for shrine to roll through you may not see it for more then a year.

Object is completely useless against stealth killers. Also it will just get you tunneled out of tlhe game if the killer is decent. Unless by being "good" in chases you mean the top .1% comp players. So sick of the gaslighting from killer mains trying to get survivors to run this literally worse than wortheless perk.

and stealth killers are basically the rockbottom of dbd in terms of strength lol. And since when do you need to be .1% of comp players to be any decent in chases? Idk who told you that, but they have been lying to you and quite possibly been holding you back from improving if you are struggling in chases a lot.
