STBFL is utterly useless nowadays. It's a shame that one of the most unique perks of DbD has been nerfed despite not needing it to begin with.
STBFL only had one issue, which was that it facilitated camping before EGC, but instead of tackling that, devs decided once again to nerf something unnecessarily. (Yeah; I still haven’t forgiven you for adding the overhead mechanic to Hillbilly, nor how you butchered my poor little Iron Will 2 years ago).
Please revert the nerf, instead, prevent STBFL from working against post-hook endurance hits before EGC.

Agreed. The changes to STBFL, Sloppy butcher, and mangled and hemorrhage have screwed over m1 killers and hit and run playstyles

Yeah, the only problematic part of it was how strong it made camping & tunnelling and yet everything except that was nerfed.
Easy fix:
Revert all changes.
STBFL deactivates when within 16 meters from a hooked Survivor and for 5 extra seconds after unhook if the Killer is within the zone.
STBFL doesn't work upon hitting post-unhook basekit Endurance.

Yep, once a week I have a minute of sadness, when I remember that I used to play with this perk almost on every second killer. Now I use it on Clown sometimes and even more rarely on Slinger. On other killers it's not worth perk slot anymore. And as survivor last time I saw this perk was perhaps in June?
I hope it will worth a perk slot on Demo or Nemi one day again :(4 -
The previous 8-stack STBFL cooldown was fine before 6.1.0 but after the 6.1.0 hit cooldown buffs having a 40% cooldown reduction was far too oppressive. And being able to conserve tokens with special attacks removed the only way for the obsession to help counter the perk.
They should change how it works with certain killers losing all their stacks at once (ie. Deathslinger shouldn't lose 4 tokens for spearing and hitting the obsession, that's just silly and overly punishing) but other than that it doesn't need buffs. It's still a solid perk on m1 killers.

idk about solid. i almost don't like running stbfl anymore. its not worth perk slot. it is to the point that rapid brutality is more useful than stbfl which is impressive.
if i do run stbfl, it is because the killer literally needs it like deathslinger or has immense synergy like unknown.

I disagree with you about SB, 90 s isn't short by any means so most of the time I don't even think it makes a difference.

i feel so so bad about stbfl and sloppy nerfs, they were basically only used by lower tier killers, top tier killer had zero usage for them. and the nerfs are pretty big too, and their pickrates seems to be nonexistent nowadays

True. STBFL was a great perk for the overall weaker M1 Killers and the nerf hurt them the most. The issue wasn't the perk in general- it was a fair perk with counterplay. The Perk needs to be buffed back and the only nerf it needs is to not work around a hooked survivor.
Also agree with other users that Sloppy Butcher and Mangeled as well as Haemorrhage were nerfed in the wrong way, especially now with survivors have many good tools for a quick heal.

I bought it from the Shrine just as it got nerfed. I barely got to use the old version of it. And then it got nerfed.
I still use it sometimes as it's not terrible, but if the Obsession decides to shove themselves in your face, then bad luck.
Please revert Sloppy and STBFL.

So 90 seconds with a perk, or 70 seconds with an addon? Perk on basically same level of an addon seems bad to me.

Addons used to give you infinite mangled and heamorage too back in the days, I don't get your point.

Sloppy was my favorite perk. I was so sad as it got nerfed.
Back to op. The % decrease from 5% to 4% was fine for me, but that you loose stacks for hitting the obsession with a special attack is so terrible. Trickster looses all stacks without even injuring someone, what is this!

I like this

it is too short. buff to 120 seconds. stbfl should return to original 5% at very least.
