Pallet hitboxes have been broken for a while
The idea of pallets is that thy hit you if you'e udner them, not if you're next to them or a meter away from them...
It's insane their range is so large. And no, it's not a lag/ping thing

On this I agree. I have been hit around corners no where near a pallet while facing the other way. I'd love to see the hitbox wireframe in action on how a pallet works.

Yes the worst I've seen was through the wall of shack xD
You can sometimes stand in front of palettes perfectly knowing that it can't hit you and... it hits you for absolutely no reason at all xD

I often notice this when playing as dredge, when I get stunned even though I was standing a meter away from the paletteal though this may be a consequence of recent server delays

So survivors don't need to be nerfed, pallets need it, right ?
After been hit recently 3 meters away (almost 20 times this last week), I know what you feel and yes the pallet hitboxes has been buffed, it is obvious. That is to compensate the failing Validation Hit I guess…0 -
There is an issue with pallets in general. As killer, I'm hit by the pallet when I'm not even in front of it… just off to the side. And as survivor, I'm hit by the killer's weapon even though I stunned the killer with the pallet. So they are just broken in general.

that has happened to me as survivor so many times. Like, I stun bubba and I get still insta downed...

also, when i play Oni, many times when i hit a dropped pallet with Demon Strike during dash, i somehow don't even hit a survivor that just started the vault, but only break the pallet

This is by design.
Pallet stuns don't happen instantly, there is a short window of about half a second when the pallet is 'falling', in which attacks can still connect before the stun registers.

Some of the hits have been especially furstrating at times, where literally it feels liek the wind of the pallet is what stunned me…
I can only assume it is lag or rollback or something… what would be nice is if the killer had a core hitbox that is maybe 10% smaller inside the current one, and a second hitbox that matches the current one, and have handling where if only the second hitbox is hit, but not the first (as in these barely get clipped edge cases) the stun time is halved. Would mean that a proper hit still stuns in full, but these edge cases aren't quite so annoying.

Its crazy how with the higher fov you can respect the pallet, see the entirety of the pallet fall down in front of you, and STILL be stunned by it.

I think its coz the servers like to "predict/delay" where you are going on the survivors screen, and since hits are on the hitters side validated, killers get hit when they arent even at the pallet at times. your position is never where the server is saying you are at and its dumb, this goes for both sides.
This is how I get so many head on hits and pallet hits I'm not supposed to, the servers are awful, the validation is awful, and they never listen lol.0 -
