Why are there no unwritten rules for survivor?

Playing in a swf. Bodyblocking. Taking an endurance hit for someone else. Just to name a few that are frequently complained about.

I'll add a few more. Using exhaustion perks, flashlights/bangs, boil over, sabo, having a healthy marriage, crouching, trying to save in end game, heal/cj/dumb tech, completing more than one gen before the killer gets their first down, bringing a tool box.

"having a healthy marriage"
Finally, I'm good at something in this game 😅

Well in theorie there are some unwritten rules if you want to play perfectly nice at least for me:
Don't tbag, don't stay in the gate if you don't have to, don't vaultspam, don't wait by hatch, don't follow me around to get chased, don't use overly insane offerings like badham, eyries or garden of joy (neutral maps like mac millian are okay). In the end I don't expect anyone to play by this rules especially because I don't do it as killer myself xD

Simple:
they don't. They'll throw bad comments or insults at you, but besides that laughable "punishment" there's nothing they can and will do against you. Most people complaining are just really two sided in my experience, they'll most of the time try to throw you on some map favoring them with some build explizit for this map and then tbag you at the gate or mid match telling you how bad you are, that's exactly why I don't restrict myself at tunneling and camping. You'll just don't get anything from playing nice xD

those are my rules in a nutshell… The only thing I might make an exception to would be sabo hook (unless it's one of THOSE teams, in that case "no pity, no remorse, no fear") and i would add people that abuse perks/stuff like styptic agent, brand new part and flashlights with strong addons and basekit bt in order to waste your time (if i'm going for the healthy survivor and you bodyblock on purpose, you asked to be tunneled)

Basically: if people think one side isn't playing the game the way it should be played, they make the game miserable.
This can be killers just leaving survivors on the ground to slowly bleed out at the end game (and then picking them up at the last moment), or survivors just hiding to hold the killer in the game as long as possible.
The other method is just refusing to play. It doesn't feel that good to 'win' if the other side just blatantly goes AFK.

I started playing Dec 2016. Had the rule breakers taken over by then because everything you just list was common and unabashed.
