Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

The Spirit's terror radius incorrectly fades out from her husk while she is phasing

When the Spirit begins a phase walk, her husk normally retains her terror radius until the husk disappears (when she stops phasing). I'm not sure what patch this broke in, but for a while now the husk's terror radius has begun to gradually fade out and become smaller until being reduced to nothing (very similar to how undetectable works, but without actually being undetectable) while the Spirit is still phasing, instead of remaining static during the phase walk like it used to. The husk's red stain also was doing this for a few patches but got fixed at some point, however the terror radius is still bugged.

To reproduce:

  1. Load into a match with Spirit and a survivor to test, no perks/addons needed
  2. Have the survivor stand near the Spirit before she begins phasing
  3. Have the Spirit begin phasing, doesn't matter where she phases to
  4. From the survivor POV, the husk's terror radius will gradually fade out over time/become smaller (and eventually disappear completely) while the Spirit is still in phase walk and while the husk is still there.

Here is a video of the issue, the first clip is with no addons, the second clip is with Yakuyoke Amulet for a super-long phase walk so you can see the terror radius eventually disappears entirely even at close range to the husk.

The correct behavior is that it should be keeping a 24 meter terror radius for the entire duration of the phase walk, then disappearing immediately when the husk disappears.
