I really really love TCoFS, and so badly want the characters in it in the game in any way that's possible, idc if they are survivors or just legendary skins, I'll buy them all.

I mean what was even the point of making the game if they literally never get added???

I would be very surprised if they didn't have plans to bring Frank Stone into the main game at some point in the not too distant future.

Doesn't sound like the game sold well but I'm sure if there was a collaboration it would sell a little more

The only issue I can imagine: (Plot Spoilers do not read if haven't played Casting of Frank Stone)

If any of the cast makes it to the DBD game, there are two issues.

1 - It implies there is a canon ending for TCoFS, and I think the main point is that your actions in the story allows you to create your own unique horror experience.

2 - It kinda gives away the ending of the game, as building up to sending the surviving cast into the trials is the climax of the game... and the main draw of the game is discovering the story.

For anyone who hasn't played the Casting of Frank Stone, it's a very cool game with an interesting story and a creepy atmosphere.

It's not particularly hard, it's more about the story, andnits a create your own horror experience type deal. How much mileage you'll get is questionable, but it is very cool for any DBD or horror fan.

If you're unsure maybe wait for a Sale, but it is good. Would recommend.

I could imagine that they could include most of the characters as Legendary outfits for original survivors, then have Frank "The Champion" Stone as an Killer-only chapter.

I read that as "wait for a Sable" and I was really confused for a second.

I don't think either of these are significant issues, because like any license/collaboration it can just be chalked up to the Entity reaching through time to pluck a version of that character from a different timeline/universe.

Anyone who hasn't played FS isn't going to presume that the existence of any characters in DBD has any bearing on what is canon in FS.

And for anyone who has played FS… well you'd know that there are potentially unlimited variations to the timeline to draw from. Every ending is potentially canon, so it really doesn't matter who is included.

Does anyone remember the tweet where some random guy was saying that they couldnt wait for Frank stone to be a legendario for trapper, so then the oficial account replied with "Rest assured, Frank Is quite the unique individual"

Then they fired all the guys in charge of the cool Lore so here we are with that trace to theorize on lmao

I'm not sure what you're referring to with the ''they fired all the guys in charge of the cool Lore'' bit, but they're not wrong in calling him a unique individual as Frank's final form in the game is vastly different from Trapper both in terms of appearance and power.

Compare Unknown 's teasers to Houndmaster's, and you kinda get what I mean

No, i don't get what you mean, what does any of that have to do with Frank Stone?

BHVR had nothing to do with the development of TCOFS or it's story, that was all Supermassive. All BHVR did was giving them all the lore and elements they had created up until that point and just let them work without interferring.

So i don't know why you're bringing up the layoffs at bhvr when they quite literally have nothing to do with anything related to TCOFS, especially when the story itself or any of the characters was never changed at any point.

Actually a solid shout… I didn't think of it that way xD

    More spoilers:

I suppose I was thinking of it with a "History of the Entity in our world" kinda deal… but when you consider this just one of many realities the Entity dives into, then that doesn't really hold true and any issues melt away.

So, with that in mind, I stand corrected xD

It was a joke refering primarily to the fact Houndmaster's teaser doesn't exist.

Im sure we will eventually get Frank stone, but he will probably be overshadowed by the many other licenses the game is getting overwhelmed by

I feel like if we get Frank in the game it might overshadow a lot of other original characters as Frank got a whole game dedicated to his lore, setting the bar pretty high.
