Would moment of glory be unbalanced if it only required 1 chest not 2?

When the castlevania dlc first was revealed i though until release that moment of glory was activated with 1 chest. I was like alright decent perk but then i saw it was 2 and was like ???. For comparison to another perk that does a similar effect clean break requires 16 seconds to heal and 60 seconds to get healed right but you are progressing the game while healing another player. Moment of glory objectively is wasting time by interacting with chests. Chests take 10 seconds at this time so i requires 20 seconds but that doesn't add the time you will waste trying to find them especially 2 . I think a 1 chest requirement would fix this perk and give it a place in dbd.

i think problem is 60 timer is too long. it should be 45 or 30 seconds but than it could replace exhaustion perks or stack with them with little downside.

It wouldn't be unbalanced, I don't think, but I also don't think it'd be the best buff to give it.

It being two chests allows you to stagger the time investment a little, so you can search/rummage the second time when you need it and not be at risk of the perk activating too early.

The bigger issue is the timer, which is slightly too long, and the fact that there aren't that many chests in the trial + you have to spend extra perk slots to find them if you want to reveal their aura since maps don't reveal them. If those things were adjusted the perk would be in a much better spot.

Plus, y'know, chests aren't worth searching so you're just activating Moment of Glory by doing it, there's that too.

    It wouldn't.

I think it should get a different activation trigger, and shorter timer (about 40 seconds).

Fun fact: The chest unlock duration has been reduced from 10 seconds to 8 seconds recently.

Out of all the healing passively perks and addons MOG seems a bit odd. I think clean break is a worse syringe but it can still be used and get value but that’s probably because syringe is too strong. MOG activates when you lose a health state so It should heal you in chase but 60 seconds is to long maybe 30 seconds would be good with the 2 chest requirement

I don't think that's the right buff, I think this perk is a prime example of why there should be more chests on the map. 2 chests is a fair requirement for what it does, but unless you use chest offerings or a rummaging perk it's impossible for anyone to use it more than once and that's awful. I'd love for there to be 5 or 6 chests on the map by default personally.

I would also say the heal time should be bumped down to 45 seconds instead of 60.

This perk is just too inconsistent on it's own. You have to find two unopened chests, and then still try and get value from it's activation.

To make solid use of the perk, you need to run other perks to bolster it. Plunderer's and Appraisal for example. It just seems like a lot of work, for an effect that almost nobody will benefit from.
