Would the team consider an option to change the graphics for dogs & wolfs?

I have Cynophobia (persistent and irrational fear of dogs) which makes playing against The Houndmaster and The Dark Lord an instant "Alt+F4" scenario for me. I have an instant panic attack any time I encounter these killers. Even the startup screen gives me an extreme amount of anxiety at the moment. The game "Hogwarts Legacy" has a setting that changes the graphics of spiders for the client for people with Arachnophobia and makes the game more enjoyable and accessible to them. Something similar to change the model of the dogs and wolfs would make it possible for me to enjoy one of my favorite games again!

Thank you,

W.W.

I mean I wouldn't mind either way if we had a slider that turned these Killers into inhuman monsters instead or something, it doesn't affect me because I do not have these.

This is a good idea. I'd be willing to sacrifice the ability to buy a new cosmetic or two so the team could take the time they need to design new skins/morphs/animations that would make the game more accessible for some players. I've seen more than one other person talk about how Plague is awful for them to go against because of a response they have to depictions or instances of vomit as well.

This sort of thing could be a real QOL improvement for some people. We might just have to sacrifice a rift cosmetic or something here and there to work it in? Or even make it a small purchasable item to justify the development cost?

Sorry to hear that but in my opinion they shouldn't, because where do we draw the line for this kind of thing?

If we decide to add accessibility options for common phobias, then that's a huugggeee number of killers, maps, cosmetics, items, etc. that need to be censored somehow and the development cost would just be unreasonable IMO.

I think that would be great, but to do this, BHVR need a system the changes the skin and power models for Killers with particular, the Houndmaster seems to have this, because of the skin. How about we keep the Pirate theme, and turn the Dog into a Shark, and uhm, now shes the Sharkmaster. The shark just floats where Snug would run.

Other phobias could be solved the same way,

    Emetophobia (fear of vomiting)

Plague could become Ashen Plague, who summons Ash Streams by her magical Faith and infects Survivors who need to go wash off. the Plague vomit could easily be disguised as Ash and her vomit sounds changed to a drying cough?

    Coulrophobia (fear of clowns).

The Clown is now a rich Oil Baron who throws Oil at you.

Honestly, these would be great legendary skins, and BHVR could provide them for free for people who want to turn it on.
I mean idd buy a Power swap skin for Plague and Clown. Dont make phobias a weakness to your game, make it make money.

BHVR should totally figure out a list of the most common phobias and work IMIDIATLY to give those killers the same Power skin ability as Houndmaster, well maybe visit Twins first, give that lil guy a tophat.

I think it should be considered, down the line as well as Doctor/Dredge being seen to also regarding skill checks and the darkness. There are a lot of large accessibility issues which could be improved.

Doctors could also just be fixed by allowing skillchecks to appear larger, coz they are just way to small rn on the UI
