It's time to stop slugging for good BHVR.
Survivors need base kit unbreakable after 60 seconds. Slugging is busted beyond belief in this game. Whether killers like it or not base kit unbreakable is the answer. It will force them to hook survivors as the game intends. BHVR please fix slugging asap.

Without way more generous hook spawns, and nerfs to sabotage and pallet saves and flashbang saves, this would definitely not be balanced.

60 seconds is more than generous amount of time to leave someone on the ground to get a nearby survivor. Let them strike. This broken mechanic needs fixed.

For Killers who think there will be another killer Strike its already happening because Killers want the path of least resistance. Slugging works against all solo teams and it can grant you much easier wins. The ONLY downfall you will have to dedicate the entire build around it and does not work with SWF teams.

…Or change Knockout. Make it so that killers get way more points for hooks instead of deaths. Maybe have a progression option for unbreakable like it starts when more than one person is slugged.

Bloodpoints are pointless many killers have one goal to get a 4K as easily as possible.

If you want to remove slugging, remove flashlight/pallet saves and remove sabotages. That way killers can always immediately hook a survivor after a down.

There is a perk lightborne that negates ALL light saves. What do survivors have against slugging? 1 perk unbreakable that saves you ONCE. You tell me what sounds fair.

Survivors have other perks besides unbreakable such as Boon: Exponential and Soul Guard. Also Lightborn doesn't negate pallet saves or sabotages whereas Unbreakable aids against slugging due to the faster recovery and 1 time pick up.
If you want slugging to not be a thing in the game, then you also need to address the killer's ability to hook survivors as it would be unfair to force killers into situations where they cannot hook the survivor they just downed so they are forced to be punished.

Boons are worthless as killers can snuff them in a second and soul guard isn't good either as you have to be hexed. Either we need base kit unbreakable 60 seconds or we need to start talking unbreakable buff to more than a one time thing getting up.

Again, if you want to remove slugging then you need to remove the ability for survivors to prevent hooks.

Plenty of hooks on the map….all you do is look for the crouch and go to another….it's not hard.

Cool, so are we getting rid of Hook Sabos? If so, then I'm all for it. However, slugging IS the counterplay to Hook Sabos. So if you're going to get rid of one, you need to get rid of both.

Again plenty of hooks on the map…sabos usually get themselves killed anyways. But the thing is it don't take full 60 seconds to hook them all. Base kit unbreakable or a buff to unbreakable is the answer. There is nothing fair about having to repair 5 generators which each take 90 seconds to do for a killer to down 4 survivors consecutively in a matter of minutes and instant win.

I'm not saying this to be crude or rude, but this sounds like someone that either doesn't play much killer, or plays in lower MMRs. Anyone that plays killer on even descent MMRs has encountered "Sabo Squads". Plenty hooks on the map when they play 4 Petrified Oaks, running Breakout?

Slugging completely bypasses the hook state chances survivors get to complete 5 generators which take 90 seconds sometimes longer with perks to complete.

First, your contradicting yourself. First you say, its easy because there's plenty of hooks. Then you say it's not supposed to be easy. So which one is it? Second, I didn't project anything. I stated an opinion based on the fact that your suggestion is completely one sided, with seemingly no concern for the other side. That goes against the very concept of balance.
Regardless, I've made my opinion clear. We can agree to disagree.

Clearly you are a beginner if you don't know sabo squads basically suicide themselves taking away hooks. lol Also I stand by what I say. There are multiple ways to deal with sabo squads. Go to the many other hooks in the map when you see the kneel or just whack them. They lose more than they gain. But it don't take 60 seconds to down them and hook them all. Get good.

Folks look at the discussions here. Nobody thinks slugging is fair to survivors. The ones who think its fine are killer mains wanting the game to stay killer sided. You're in the minority if you think bypassing hook states is fair.

Yes because 4 downs for an instant win is fair when survivors have 5 gens to work on. lol Take ghost face for example 3 people working on a gen oops all exposed and down. Oh look lets slug the last survivor! Oh look game over in 2 minutes. lol

Ghostface is one of the worst killers in the game. If you're losing to a Ghostface 4 man slugging, you have bigger issues.

Only time i slug is when i see a hook offering to distance them, Then i think to myself, what an oxymoron , they dont want to be slugged but they are begging for it.

Again if a purely M1 killer is 4 man slugging without survivors ever resetting, the issue isn't the killer.
All it takes is for a survivor to bring Ghostface on a chase longer than the expose duration and other survivors can pick up the slugs and still progress on gens.

Doesn't need anything else but m1 when he can insta down you immediately plus he has stealth and surprise. You say ghost face is a low ranked killer yet every other match is a ghost face and there are many who main him.

Ghostface according to Nightlight only beats Trickster and Good Guy in Kill Rate. He's not good even if he sees decent usage.

The thing is they tried this already. When they had it in a PTB, people found ways to create situations where the Killer was forced to, that is actually had no choice, but to slug in areas that they couldn't hook from. Survivors would find places on the map where there weren't many or any hooks, or where finding a hook was very hard - like upstairs areas - then sit there. The Killer would be forced to slug them, leave, and of course they would then get their free unlimited Unbreakable and get up again.
It was too abuseable. Basekit Unbreakable can't be the proper solution, not unless it is limited to one use only and ONLY if most of the Survivors still in the match are actually being slugged this way. It's not fair to punish Killers using a down as pressure as if they were the same as a toxic Billy slugging everyone at five gens and humping them on the ground.

ngl i would love a way to get unbreakable basekit because it is beyond boring and annoying to be on the ground consistently over n over again
yes killers like twins exists and yes killers are allowed to slug, but needing slug for someone for a minute is beyond unreasonable
if they would've keept the WGLF buffs, i wouldnt want that, but since they didnt (and overall not really effective)
killers bleeding survivors isnt a problem in the dev's eyes so its very unlikely they will do anything related to this unless the team changes (which takes years which by that point dbd probably ran its course or we get dbd 2)0 -
What works well against solo Q for the slugging is Knock Out.
The aura hiding distance should have a 15 seconds duration like the low recovery/crawling speed instead of being permanently hidden 16 meters afar.
Unbreakable already counters heavy sluggers.
If your solo Q team group up on gens yeah you give a free snowball situation for the killer.
